I've recently been "booted" from posting comments on The Huffington Post.

I am a thoughtful and well spoken conservative poster; but, I have recently been "swept out" of the AOL/Huffington Post comment stream. I had been posting comments on AOL/The Huffington Post for the past few years. But, a few months ago I began to notice that my comments were being flagged by their moderators, and summarily removed, or held onto and released so far down the "comment stream" that no one would ever have a chance of viewing the comments.

Recently, I was asked for my Facebook link, so that my name would be posted on all of my comments. Now, my last name is quite unique, and I would not take someone very long to figure out exactly which "John Doe" I actually was. I will confess that the Obama adminstration and the abuses of the NSA did, factor into my decision to, decline to attach my Facebook account to HuffPost.

I was never an "ugly" commentor; but, I would not back down from my viewpoints, either. Anytime anyone would ever "take me to task" for my political beliefs, I would always give a very good account of myself, and humble them in the "arena of ideas." But, most importantly, I was providing a conservative viewpoint to a general audience that may never have been exposed to conservatism, before. I had been "friended" and "followed" by many many people.

Now, to be honest, sometimes I would, "throw a firecracker into a bee hive" (enrage to engage) just to see what would come flying out at me; but, that is all part of the "political discourse" that our nation was founded upon.

I will review some of the comments on HuffPost, just to see what kind of commentors are left, now. Everything that I see indicates that the other conservatives must have been "booted" also. What is left are a bunch of like-minded liberal/socialists, who are in total agreement about all of the news stories on HuffPost.

Just curious if anyone else in this forum has had the same experience with Huffington?

HOLY COW!!! I thought I was posting this on a "Chat Room." My most sincere apologies. Sometimes the little hamster falls asleep inside the wheel!

Your are probably right.  The HuffPost regular posters had a hissy fit when AOL subscribers started posting there. And, their moderators are seriously NUTS!  I'm still there and and I don't post often!  It is a badge of honor to get booted from there!  Congrats!

Congratz!

Angry Dem Impeachment ‘Witness’: Pam Karlan Donated Thousands To Hillary And Was On Clinton’s List For Potential SCOTUS Nomination

The House Judiciary Committee, chaired by Rep. Jerrold Nadler, kicked off its first impeachment circus Wednesday morning.

The four ‘witnesses’ testifying have never actually witnessed any of Trump’s dealings with Ukraine firsthand — the four witnesses are law professors offering legal analysis.

One of the witnesses the Dems rolled out is an angry Hillary Clinton donor who was on Crooked’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination.

No wonder why this unhinged, dowdy woman is so pissed off!

“Professor Pam Karlan donated thousands of dollars to Democrats and was on Hillary Clinton’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination. So she certainly has no vendetta against President Trump,” GOP Rep. Mark Walker said.

Congressman Walker also pointed out that Noah Feldman, the Dems first partisan witness in Wednesday’s hearing tweeted about impeaching Trump right after he was sworn in.

Meet Noah Feldman, House Democrats first partisan witness.

Look at the date of this tweet. He has been trying to get @realDonaldTrump impeached since 46 days into his presidency.

His reason? Trump criticized President Obama.

This is a sham impeachment with sham witnesses. https://twitter.com/NoahRFeldman/status/839185127494254592

The next witness, Karlan, has donated thousands to Democrats and was on Hillary Clinton’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination.

So she certainly has no vendetta against @realDonaldTrump.

These witnesses are as serious as House Democrats impeachment case: not at all.

The entire sham show trial is stacked with partisan hacks who have wanted to impeach Trump from the moment he won in November of 2016.

Norm Eisen, the Democrats’ counsel who is blasting Trump and questioning witnesses in Wednesday’s show trial, tweeted about impeaching Trump before Donald Trump was even sworn into office!
