I am in Indiana and I vote next week....who should I vote for?

Hi all! It has never really been a big thing to vote in the Indiana primary because the candidate is usually decided by the time we vote.  This time it is different and possibly pivotal to the end game.

As you know, I read, read and read some more to find content for this site.  And, even given all my research, I still have not decided who will get my vote. Weird, huh?

I have been a big Cruz fan since I saw him at CPAC.  It would seem obvious that I would vote for him. However, the Canadian citizenship issue and the natural born citizen clause gives me pause. Is he really eligible?  What if he gets the nod and the Dems come out full force on this issue?  Grayson has already said he is ready to sue. And, Heidi's connection to the CFR bothers me....not to mention the 'forgotten' loans. Also, there is Carly....do we really want her a heartbeat away from the highest office in the land. I do not like her. And, what about the 500K loan Cruz gave her? Cruz loves America and wants to try to make it better.

Is he a snake oil salesman or the second coming of Ronald Reagan? I don't know.

That said, there is Trump.  He is certainly has the Democrats on the defensive.  Unlike some, I don't think he is in this because of his ego.  I think the man really does love America and wants to try to make it better. But, he has some flips and flops on issues that are troublesome and a background with the Clintons. He donated to McConnell and Boehner...was it business or did he want to shut down the Tea Party's influence? He's big on imminent domain.....I don't approve of it.  He has no previous governmental experience...is that a good thing or a bad thing. I don't know.  And, I get the sense that his immigration plan will be touch back....that needs to be explored further...

Is he a snake oil salesman or the second coming of Ronald Reagan?  I don't know.

Kasich. Who is this guy and why is he on the ballot...not even a contender.

I have so many questions so I thought I would toss this out to you guys.

Dee

p.s. We have had a few people leave the site saying we are 'pro-Trump'.  I sure wish those folks were the ones who tried to find content every day.  If they did, they would know that it is very very hard to find pro-Cruz material particularly if you will not use suspected GOP operative sites (which I will not do). I have addressed this before.....so, let them leave.

You answered your own question
We win with a Nationlist

I have said befor... Any/all of the 17 are better than either/ both
Of Sanders/hitlery.

Also, my take was the risk of downside was roughly equal between Trump/Cruz
Upside potential is MUCH HIGHER with Trump

I had a VERY TOUGH recently. Lindsay Graham sucks. But I voted for him rather than a demonrat

Given the voice of American Republicans, will you vote for Trump?
Dan
You've had a tough nite
Take your meds and get some sleep.
I 'll bet you $100 the sun WILL rise tomorrow

To all those who say they will not support the candidate that gets the nomination, I say that such standing on some far fetched principles helped get Obama's second term so if you stay home, get ready for a third Obama term!

You might think you are too good a conservative to vote for someone you don't believe is the best for the country but in reality all you are doing is giving Hillary Clinton that much better a chance, so you will be at fault.  Or was that the plan all along?

First, if Ted is so honest, why didn't he present his documents proving he is eligible?  Why did he seal his records and his mother's records?  People who have nothing to hide don't do that.

You say you believe Trump is a RINO and other such leanings and there are many on this site who believe the same about Cruz and his wife's ties to certain trade agreements.

You don't have to like the outcome.

You people have assumed the position of being brain dead.  You swallow ALL trump spews.  Sure wish I could talk my wife into this act, would make our nights a bit more fun.

We that are REAL conservatives actually pity you. YOU have operated out of fear and anger and, like the Weimar residents, we may have the same results.

Let's talk about this again
In 4 years

I voted for Ford, HW TWICE, Dole, W TWICE, McCain, Romney and now you DEMAND I support the worst of ALL RINO's?  Ummmm, no freaking THANK you.  This will NOT happen and, if it takes YOUR stupidity to elect hrc then do NOT blame this on us.  To us, trump is hrc with a dusting of cheeto.  No tangible difference and, if you cannot accept this, that's okay.  Just do NOT come to us begging us for our forgiveness.

Will NOT happen.

If you were a betting man, who would you bet on as having more downside
Potential?
Hrc or sky?
See you in 4 years

Assumption is two-fold. One, Republican party survives.  Two, Tea Party retains relevance.  After supporting the BIGGEST RINO since, ummmm, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, their establishment ties are clearly defined and completely unacceptable.

WHEN trump fails, people will be CRYING for forgiveness and, sorry, they'll be none because it is YOU that gave this to us.

Four years?  Hope we're still around.  Maybe Mexico WILL build that wall to keep US from emigrating there.

What are you looking for Mr Perfect? I'm sorry, He was killed on the Cross!

I know what I don't want again! Is another Progressive Socialist, or another Muslim.

D,

Are you an American citizen?

...and if you really want to see something growing, be on the lookout for "Citizen Congress"

YIKES!!! Chelsea Clinton Emphatically States A Person With A Beard And A Penis Can ‘Absolutely’ Identify As A Woman

  • The one issue Hillary and Chelsea don’t appear to agree on entirely is transgender self-identification
  • In an interview with The Sunday Times, journalist Decca Aitkenhead asked the Clintons about transgender self-identification
  • Chelsea Clinton replied ‘yes’ emphatically when asked if someone with a beard and penis can ever be a woman
  • ‘It’s going to take a lot more time and effort to understand what it means to be defining yourself differently,’ Hillary said
  • Aitkenhead said Hillary became ‘uneasy’ when the question was asked while Chelsea shot a ‘furious stare’ at the journalist as her mother answered
  • Hillary added: ‘It’s a very big generational discussion, because this is not something I grew up with or ever saw’

(Daily Mail) – It may appear Hillary and Chelsea Clinton always see eye-to-eye, but in a recent interview one topic cracked the facade of the like-minded mother-daughter power duo.

The one issue Hillary and Chelsea don’t appear to agree on entirely is transgender self-identification.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, journalist Decca Aitkenhead asked the Clintons if someone with a beard and a penis can ever be a woman, to which Chelsea replied emphatically, ‘Yes.’

However, as Aitkenhead describes it, Hillary looked ‘uneasy’, and blamed generational gaps for being less accepting.

‘Errr. I’m just learning about this,’ Hillary responded. ‘It’s a very big generational discussion, because this is not something I grew up with or ever saw. It’s going to take a lot more time and effort to understand what it means to be defining yourself differently.’

The Clintons sat sown with Aitkenhead to promote the book they co-authored, The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience.

The book features Danica Roem, the first trans woman elected to a U.S. state legislature.

According Aitkenhead’s account, she tells Hillary during the interview that many British feminists of Hillary’s generation have a problem with the idea that a ‘lesbian who doesn’t want to sleep with someone who has a penis is transphobic.’

Hillary nods in agreement, while Chelsea ‘stiffens and stares at me’, according to Aitkenhead.

The journalist then adds that many women of Hillary’s generation are uncomfortable with biological males sharing women’s bathrooms.

‘I would say that, absolutely,’ Hillary nods firmly. ‘Absolutely. Yes.’

That’s when Chelsea begins shooting a ‘furious stare’ at Aitkenhead, who points it out to her.

‘I’m a terrible actor’, Chelsea laughs.

Chelsea then says she is thrilled with the National Health Service’s decision to assign patients to single-sex wards according to the gender they identify as, instead of their biological make up.

‘How can you treat someone if you don’t recognize who they feel and know in their core they are?’ Chelsea says.

‘And I strongly support children being able to play on the sports teams that match their own gender identity,’ she adds. ‘I think we need to be doing everything we can to support kids in being whoever they know themselves to be and discovering who they are.’

At this point Hillary looks conflicted.

‘I think you’ve got to be sensitive to how difficult this is,’ Hillary says. ‘There are women who’d say [to a trans woman], ”You know what, you’ve never had the kind of life experiences that I’ve had. So I respect who you are, but don’t tell me you’re the same as me.” I hear that conversation all the time.’

Despite the clear tension in the room, the pair say they don’t argue about this topic.

But according to Aitkenhead, ‘I get the impression they don’t like to present anything less than a united front to the world.’
