"... folks that are bitter the election's over ..."

House Democrats are demanding that the winner of Tuesday’s presidential election should listen to the losing party in shaping the next administration.

A group of 169 House Democrats are insisting President-elect Donald Trump rescind the appointment of Breitbart News Executive Steve Bannon as Trump’s chief strategist and senior counselor. Bannon served as Trump’s campaign CEO for the final months of the general election campaign.

“Bigotry, anti-Semitism and xenophobia should have no place in our society, and they certainly have no place in the White House,” Rep. David Cicilline, D-R.I., said Wednesday in a statement.

“Whether intentional or not, the appointment of Mr. Bannon sends a disturbing message about what kind of president Donald Trump wants to be,” he added.

No Republicans signed the letter to Trump. Last week, Republicans gained control of the White House while maintaining control of both houses of Congress.

The letter to Trump said unity is impossible while Trump has an adviser like Bannon.

“Unfortunately, your appointment of Stephen Bannon, whose ties to the white nationalist movement have been well-documented, directly undermines your ability to unite the country,” the letter said.

“Millions of Americans have expressed fear and concern about how they will be treated by the Trump administration and your appointment of Mr. Bannon only exacerbates and validates their concerns. We strongly believe that Mr. Bannon’s appointment will not allow the country to heal and come together as one,” the letter added.

As Democrats hammered Bannon, others defended him.

Bannon’s critics are “folks that are bitter the election’s over,” Trump spokesman Jason Miller said. “They didn’t get the result that they wanted.”

“Steve Bannon is someone who’s done a fantastic job implementing the president-elect’s vision on the campaign trail,” Miller said. “He’s someone I’ve had the opportunity to work with over the past three or four months, someone I’ve seen very high character from.”

Breitbart Senior Editor-at-large Joel Pollak told NPR that Bannon “has no prejudices, he treats people equally, and, in fact, during my time working closely with him at Breitbart for five years, he sought out people from diverse backgrounds and gave them a voice at Breitbart.”

Pollak said Bannon is “from a conservative perspective at least, a national hero, because in helping Donald Trump win, he’s helped defend the Supreme Court and the Constitution.”

Amen, these Dems have a short memory.. They installed the nuclear option. Now they can see the problems they've created for themselves. The sad part is that our nation suffers all the time. Do the job or get out! Don't worry about being re-elected.

There is, and will never be unity with the Far Left Democrat Party that panders for votes of illegal immigrants and there kinfolk, as they do with convicted felons.  The acceptance of a Presidential Candidate that clearly violated numerous laws regarding Classified information, violations that would require jail time for any other person, shows they have no respect for any law as it applies to them.

If I remember right someone said " We won, you lost" Pretty sure his name was Barry. Remember the Healthcare debacle where the Dem slugs actually locked the Republicans out of the meetings. So Dems "go suck eggs" WE WON. You put us through he!! for eight years now we have the pen and the phone.

I believe the statement was... Elections have consequences, but you are absolutely on point here.

The Democrat's have this big ego problem and they think they are still running things. They have no humility and do not see that they have been rejected completely by the majority... "YOU LOST"!

Where do they get off telling Trump what he should or shouldn't do? When did God die and put the Demoncrat in charge? God himself installed Trump into office to do His will. This is the only chance we have of righting the sinking ship called the USA which the Donkey worked very hard to sink. They want so badly to scuttle the ship that they would pay billions for low lifes to cause trouble.

God is watching and laughing at you Donkies... Ps 2:... read it!

Well said B

Screw unity and the DNC

OK, give them the finger as an answer

The Democrats can forget about making outrageous demands. In case they have forgotten, Trump may need to remind them that they're in the minority. Their policies have been overwhelmingly rejected by the American voters. Demands??? HA! Democrats should concentrate on playing nice for the next four years.

Newsflash for Democrats: The GOP runs DC now.  And YES, .....get ready Liberals.....to hide in you safe place.....becausewe WILL fill those positions in the Supreme Court, with CONSERVATIVES!

Call their bluff President Trump, the price for unity is now the immediate prosecution and conviction of HRC and her band of immortals for failure to protect national security ... no immunity, no deals.  Then we'll talk.

Unity?  What does unity look like with the democrat party?  I've never seen it.

Racism -> Emergency Medical Doctor Rails Against Whites: “White People Can Be Exhausting” – ‘Racism Towards Whites Doesn’t Exist’

Esther Choo (pictured above), an emergency medical doctor and professor in Oregon, took to Twitter to rail against white people and after getting called out for her racism, she asserted that it’s impossible to be racist towards whites.

According to Choo’s bio, she’s an emergency physician and associate professor at the Oregon Health & Science University.

Choo is the daughter of Korean immigrants and uses social media to talk about racism and sexism in healthcare, according to her bio.

“White people can be exhausting. Just an observation,” Choo said in a tweet on Friday.

When she received backlash for her racist tweet, Choo continued to taunt and disparage whites.

“Observation #2: white people are going to prove my point on this very thread,” Choo said responding to the backlash.

She also bragged that Twitter took her side when people reported her tweet.

“Observation #3: when people try to convince Twitter that white people are experiencing reverse racism, Twitter understands that is not a thing.”

Twitter may not have a problem with racism against white people, but what about the medical community?

Dr. Choo received huge backlash on Twitter.

This is coming from an Emergency Medicine Physician who is considered a "leader" in her field. She's scheduled to be a speaker at the American College of Emergency Physicians in October. She runs a website called FeminEM prompting Feminist causes in EM and a racist.

Pretty racist statement, TBH.

Protected groups being immune to being called out for blatant bigotry is exhausting, just an observation.

Replace “white” with any other race, and Dr. Choo would be out of a job.

Update: Dr. Choo deleted her racist tweets and set her Twitter account to “private” after she received backlash from hundreds of people.
