"... folks that are bitter the election's over ..."

House Democrats are demanding that the winner of Tuesday’s presidential election should listen to the losing party in shaping the next administration.

A group of 169 House Democrats are insisting President-elect Donald Trump rescind the appointment of Breitbart News Executive Steve Bannon as Trump’s chief strategist and senior counselor. Bannon served as Trump’s campaign CEO for the final months of the general election campaign.

“Bigotry, anti-Semitism and xenophobia should have no place in our society, and they certainly have no place in the White House,” Rep. David Cicilline, D-R.I., said Wednesday in a statement.

“Whether intentional or not, the appointment of Mr. Bannon sends a disturbing message about what kind of president Donald Trump wants to be,” he added.

No Republicans signed the letter to Trump. Last week, Republicans gained control of the White House while maintaining control of both houses of Congress.

The letter to Trump said unity is impossible while Trump has an adviser like Bannon.

“Unfortunately, your appointment of Stephen Bannon, whose ties to the white nationalist movement have been well-documented, directly undermines your ability to unite the country,” the letter said.

“Millions of Americans have expressed fear and concern about how they will be treated by the Trump administration and your appointment of Mr. Bannon only exacerbates and validates their concerns. We strongly believe that Mr. Bannon’s appointment will not allow the country to heal and come together as one,” the letter added.

As Democrats hammered Bannon, others defended him.

Bannon’s critics are “folks that are bitter the election’s over,” Trump spokesman Jason Miller said. “They didn’t get the result that they wanted.”

“Steve Bannon is someone who’s done a fantastic job implementing the president-elect’s vision on the campaign trail,” Miller said. “He’s someone I’ve had the opportunity to work with over the past three or four months, someone I’ve seen very high character from.”

Breitbart Senior Editor-at-large Joel Pollak told NPR that Bannon “has no prejudices, he treats people equally, and, in fact, during my time working closely with him at Breitbart for five years, he sought out people from diverse backgrounds and gave them a voice at Breitbart.”

Pollak said Bannon is “from a conservative perspective at least, a national hero, because in helping Donald Trump win, he’s helped defend the Supreme Court and the Constitution.”

I've got a better solution!!!!!!!!!

Unity?...the democrats wouldn't know unity if it was a self-inserting suppository. All they've ever done my whole life is divide, deceive, delude, disenfranchise and demoralize. They're this generation's "slime of humanity". Ban them indeed.

Great point!

Anyone the dumb o crates don't like is good news for US, our side!

Frank, they are doing it ALL BY THEMSELVES!!!  And it's a riot to watch!!!  Just imagine the next 2 years, starting with Keith Ellison!!!!!  Everything they do these days reinforces the election of Donald J. Trump.

....and I'm lovin' it!

NO, He should stay..that is Trumps' choice and they have no say..so there.

The Democrats LOST the election in The White House The House of Reps. & The Senate A LOSS IS STILL LOOSING IS STILL LOOSING IS STILL LOOSING & the Dems. LOST!!!!!!!

Sounds more like it is 'BLACKMAIL' AND LESS LIKE A REQUEST FOR UNITY. . . .An Or Else - - -

Is it impossible for them to get it? They Do Not Decide Anything for Pres Elect Trump! They did not control him in the runup to the Election and they damn sure will not NOW!  This reminds me of their Grade School sitin!!

Mr Bannon is far a better pick then the man Obama picked Van Jones he proved to be a low life that wanted freedom in America to be vanished and Communism to replace the foundation this Great Nation was built on. I think Trump has the right to keep who he wants, and if it up sets the demon rats to bad there welcome to move to the Middle East starting from the sanction city's and the colleges that want to protect the Mexican cartel and the ISIS implants that is hiding in the sanction city's waiting to rise up to cause havick to all America people. It seems our youth today have been feed a 7 course meat of socialism and they like the crap there feed. There seems to be no shame in their actions from killing police officers to destroying cars and homes to businesses. Shouldn't those who are being attacked have the right to protect their family's and homes and income. Is it going to take students being shot like in the past, I'd pray not. But when there isn't any order, there is anarchy And it brings evil things to happen. If those aginist our laws are law Braker's and should be treated as shouch no one is above the Law and perhaps they need reminded. When a persons freedom is taken they soon learn to respect it. It has always be known that a person will fight to keep something they got, rather then to work to get it.

Tell the House & Senate Democrats to go POUND SAND!

Such arrogance?!

SICK: Leprosy On The Rise In Los Angeles

Ahh, the joys of open borders and Democrat leadership.

California is not just a public toilet but now there is evidence that leprosy is on the rise in Los Angeles County.

Barack Obama changed US law in 2016 and allowed immigrants with blistering STDs and leprosy to migrate to the US.

Medscape reported:

Leprosy, also known as Hansen’s disease, is rarely seen in the United States, but cases continue to emerge in Los Angeles County, a new report says.

“Hansen’s disease still exists, and we need to educate medical students and physicians,” coauthor Dr. Maria Teresa Ochoa from Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, told Reuters Health by email.

Dr. Ochoa and colleagues identified 187 patients with the disease in a review of medical records from their leprosy clinic spanning 1973 to 2018. Most patients were Latino, originating from Mexico, and they experienced a median delay in diagnosis of more than three years, the team reports JAMA Dermatology, online August 7.

Multibacillary leprosy (MB) cases outnumbered paucibacillary leprosy (PB) cases by nearly eight to one (88.6% vs. 11.4%, respectively), and Latino patients were more likely than non-Latino patients to have MB, as were patients from Central or South America (versus other regions).

Most patients (80.7%) received multidrug therapy, and most (92.6%) received antibiotics for more than two years, especially if they had MB.

Only about half of patients (56.7%) had World Health Organization (WHO) grade 0 disability (no signs or symptoms suggestive of leprosy or disability) at the one-year follow-up, whereas 16.0% had grade 1 disability (loss of protective sensation) and 26.2% had grade 2 disability (visible deformity) at the last follow-up.

Among the patients who lost protective sensation, 87.7% (50/57) did not regain it following therapy.
