"... folks that are bitter the election's over ..."

House Democrats are demanding that the winner of Tuesday’s presidential election should listen to the losing party in shaping the next administration.

A group of 169 House Democrats are insisting President-elect Donald Trump rescind the appointment of Breitbart News Executive Steve Bannon as Trump’s chief strategist and senior counselor. Bannon served as Trump’s campaign CEO for the final months of the general election campaign.

“Bigotry, anti-Semitism and xenophobia should have no place in our society, and they certainly have no place in the White House,” Rep. David Cicilline, D-R.I., said Wednesday in a statement.

“Whether intentional or not, the appointment of Mr. Bannon sends a disturbing message about what kind of president Donald Trump wants to be,” he added.

No Republicans signed the letter to Trump. Last week, Republicans gained control of the White House while maintaining control of both houses of Congress.

The letter to Trump said unity is impossible while Trump has an adviser like Bannon.

“Unfortunately, your appointment of Stephen Bannon, whose ties to the white nationalist movement have been well-documented, directly undermines your ability to unite the country,” the letter said.

“Millions of Americans have expressed fear and concern about how they will be treated by the Trump administration and your appointment of Mr. Bannon only exacerbates and validates their concerns. We strongly believe that Mr. Bannon’s appointment will not allow the country to heal and come together as one,” the letter added.

As Democrats hammered Bannon, others defended him.

Bannon’s critics are “folks that are bitter the election’s over,” Trump spokesman Jason Miller said. “They didn’t get the result that they wanted.”

“Steve Bannon is someone who’s done a fantastic job implementing the president-elect’s vision on the campaign trail,” Miller said. “He’s someone I’ve had the opportunity to work with over the past three or four months, someone I’ve seen very high character from.”

Breitbart Senior Editor-at-large Joel Pollak told NPR that Bannon “has no prejudices, he treats people equally, and, in fact, during my time working closely with him at Breitbart for five years, he sought out people from diverse backgrounds and gave them a voice at Breitbart.”

Pollak said Bannon is “from a conservative perspective at least, a national hero, because in helping Donald Trump win, he’s helped defend the Supreme Court and the Constitution.”

Sometime I wonder who won, they need to get a life.

         Go Trump.

GW..

If one only had the MSM to gage the outcome of the election one would think Trump lost ... and the Dem's cleaned up in Congress. It is part of their strategy to control the narrative and with the narrative the political agenda.  The GOP needs to isolate and freeze the Dem's in place... keeping them on the defense by using the power of the majority too control and set the agenda.

Sen. McConnell and Speaker Ryan need to appear together in a press conference where they confirm that Trumps appointments will sail thru committee and a vote without delay... that any obstructionist efforts by the minority party will result in the Nuclear Option being taken... on the first offense...

In Fact, they should announce that the first order of business for the next Congress will be to suspend the Filibuster Rule and install a simple majority vote requirement for ALL of Congress's business until further notice. Then end the briefing and leave without taking questions... shutting down the MSM circus.

you guys ever notice how the buzz term UNITY to the democrats is to do what they want and for the republicans to cave to their demands......? the first thing trump should do after picking these top cabinet positions....is to issue them a set of balls and each sign a promise for them to USE them......and that goes for the women too.

Their brand of unity we can live without. They need to sit down and shut up.

KEEP HIM TRUMP DON'T GIVE IN !!  THEY DON'T RUN THE SHOW ANY LONGER  !!!!

Stephen Bannon knows filth when he sees it and having worked around the Hollywood elites, the nasty perverted Left, he knows all too well who they are and how they think and i believe this is why the Left are seriously against and afraid of him. He's gonna target the bastards by revealing the big lie of who they really are. Pop a cap in it and use them for compost. We'll plant them next to our favorite shrubs and trees or it can be exported to the middle east. They have a shortage of compost in those deserts over there. That would be good on shrinking the carbon foot print they're all so concerned about. All Good!

And yet, not a word about the Congressional Black Caucus, who has promoted racism at every level.  Just a word, every issue is not about race, and in fact almost none are.  Most people who are shot by police in the commission of a crime are not racial issues but more of the issue of stopping the crime that they are involved in.  What always gets lost in this discussion is that every single one of these shootings only happened because a crime was committed.  I want to point out that this does not include the death of Sandra Bland as she should have never been arrested in the first place.  What a tragedy.

Don't you just love it, Democrats are already throwing their weight around. You lost, we won, shut up!

House Democrats are insisting that Trump dump Steve Bannon in order to create unity. The sad and dying Democrats came up with this totally brilliant strategy after many hours of discussions within their think tank.

The Democrats have no leg to stand on ... their dog simply won't hunt in the next Congress.  Lock them out of the leadership conferences, like they did the GOP... Drop 1000 page bills on them the day before the vote, and ram the bills through using a simple majority.  Let the Dem's know that there threats are empty ... and delusional.

With a Majority in Both Houses of Congress and the Presidency in the GOP Corner the GOP can write their own ticket ... without any effective way for the Dem's to counter.  If the GOP doesn't they will clearly show that there is no difference between the Parties and the People need to throw both political parties out of power... that process needs to start... immediately... if the GOP's Globalist and Progressive Establishment arm shows itself unwilling to act in defense of our heritage and Constitution..

No more excuses... or blaming the opposition party for obstruction... run the Dem's over... or be viewed as traitors to our heritage and the US Constitution.  Now is the time for the GOP to clean the swamp; too, pass the legislation and appoint Justices to the Courts, needed to restore Constitutional Government in America.  The Question is will they use their power or claim they have none.. when ever it suits them... in an attempt to avoid being held accountable for their inaction? We shall see.

Ignore them, shun them, it will drive them crazy and then they will do something incredibly stupid to get attention. I can see Charley Shummer now, on the news everyday attempting to take the light from Trump.
Trump won't be on a golf course or off apologizing for being American he will be working long hours attempting to get this country back on line, creating a political and economic climate that will create millions of jobs.
Dirty filthy lying stinking Communist nearly completed their destructive job, God heard our prayers and now we all have work to do. Canvass and take seats on village, city and county boards and prepare for the reestablishing of the old PTAs and bring education leadership back to local level. We have to be in charge or the commies will institute their garbage from the local level. Join your local grass root Republican party. God has given us a last chance, we must not blow this. The commies nearly destroyed this country and they started with education on the local level.

God Bless America and the State of Israel

OMG!!! Ruth Bader Ginsburg Voted Best Real-Life Hero At MTV Awards

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Monday was crowned the best real-life hero at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

The 86-year old judge — whose 2015 biopic The Notorious RBG help cement her as a cultural icon among Liberals — beat out tennis star Serena Williams, WWE wrestler Roman Reigns, and comedian Hannah Gadsby to take him the award.

Though it wasn’t a clean sweep for Ginsburg last night.

The RGB documentary lost the “Best Fight” category for “Ruth Bader Ginsburg vs. Inequality” to “Captain Marvel vs. Minn-Erva.”

The justice was absent from the ceremony in Santa Monica, California.

Last December, Ginsburg had surgery to remove cancerous growths on her left lung. She was released from the hospital in New York four days later and recuperated at home.

Earlier this year, Ginsburg missed three days of arguments, the first time that’s happened since she joined the court in 1993. Still, she was allowed to participate using court briefs and transcripts.

Ginsburg has had two previous bouts with cancer, in 1999 and 10 years later.

Flashback: Ruth Bader Ginsburg: A Pregnant Woman Is Not A ‘Mother’

Celebrated liberal U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg argued in an opinion released Tuesday that a pregnant woman is not a “mother.”

“[A] woman who exercises her constitutionally protected right to terminate a pregnancy is not a ‘mother’,” Ginsburg wrote in a footnote, which in turn responded to another footnote in the 20-page concurring opinion by Justice Clarence Thomas in the Box v. Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky Inc. case.

As Breitbart News’ legal editor Ken Klukowski reported, the case concerned a law signed by then-Governor (now Vice President) Mike Pence of Indiana in 2016, which required that the remains of an aborted fetus (or baby) be disposed of by cremation or burial. The law also prohibited abortion on the basis of sex, race, or disability alone.

The Court upheld the first part of the law, but declined to consider the selective-abortion ban until more appellate courts had ruled on it.

In his lengthy opinion — which delighted pro-life advocates, and distressed pro-choice activists — Thomas wrote that “this law and other laws like it promote a State’s compelling interest in preventing abortion from becoming a tool of modern-day eugenics.” He traced the racist and eugenicist beliefs of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, and warned that the Court would one day need to wrestle with abortion as form of racial discrimination.

In a footnote, Thomas attacked Ginsberg’s dissenting opinion, which argued the Court should not have deferred to the legal standard used by the litigants in the lower courts, but should have subjected the Indiana law to a more difficult standard instead, since it impacted “the right of [a] woman” to an abortion.

Ginsburg cited no legal authority for her claim that a pregnant woman is not a “mother.” The claim that a fetus is not a child is central to pro-choice arguments.
