Homeland Security watchdog faces fresh allegations

The embattled deputy inspector general at the Department of Homeland Security destroyed incriminating documents to prevent their public release, used federal funds to pay for two Puerto Rican vacations, and bugged his employees’ phones and email, a new letter from Cause of Action, a government-accountability group, charges.

The recent allegations against Charles Edwards add to those leveled last week by the Senate Homeland Security Committee. The Daily Caller News Foundation reported on Friday that the committee accused Edwards of whitewashing a politically sensitive report, abusing agency resources, and committing a slew of other offenses.

“Inspectors general are put in place to hold agencies accountable and conduct thorough and accurate investigations of misconduct within agencies,” Cause of Action Communications Director Mary Beth Hutchins told TheDC News Foundation.

AS THE WORST AND CRUELIST PUNISHMENT THAT I CAN THINK OF RIGHT NOW IS : FORCE HIM TO MARRY AND SLEEP WITH THAT FAT MOUTHY GASTAPO BROAD THAT RUNS THE OUTFIT. SHE MOST LIKELY AUTHORIZED HIM TO DO IT.

YEAH! & then let him put himself out of his misery !

You are being TOO NICE in referring to her as a "FAT MOUTHY GASTAPO BROAD"!

This sounds like some third world government...an things heat up ...obama goes out of town ...and mama takes another vacation on us......no end to this corruption and it all begins and stops with congressional ethics and lack of morality.  they are and always act like they are above the law and now the latest administration has take it to a new level...ruling by executive order w/DOJ and Homeland Security amoung other depts that refuse to abide by Federal Law...the cowardice of Congress speaks for itself.  Congress has become the nations newest pariah as

a dysfunctional body run amok and the latest victim of it own mistakes.    Don't you just love it!

Corruption in the District of Corruption ...Where Hogs roll in Pork on a daily basis!

The congress can't do anything till the conservatives control the senate. Note I said the conservatives not the RINO's. Put a fork in Rubio. He is done IMHO. Till then all the congress can do is cut off funds.

Me thinks less and less "hogs rolling in pork" as the muslims continue to infiltrate

When you hire nothing but criminals and perverts to do the bidding of the chicago mob in
washington, and then put then under the governance of communists, marxists and perverts
what in the hell would you expect, honesty, truthfullnest, good character.......  heck, he was
just followwing the example of his manager.
The only way the corrupt and criminal mess in washington DC is ever going to be cleaned
out is by a  meateor strike on washington,  or some jihadi with a suitcase nuke, reducing
washington to a 50 mile across, 500 foor deep glass lined lake, and in washington, you
would have to go really deep, as the maggots have burried themselves really deep in the dung
pile.

Need to put a cage around DC and turn off the money spigot.  They're so corrupt they'll cannibalize each other.  That would be an improvement.

Read the Declatation of Independance and see if you recognize us today in it.

Oren the army in Egypt just arrested Morsi & All other MB members we NEED our Military.   saw it on Before it's news . If they can do it so can we ,we need to get rid of so called special interest & Lobbyist .

Oren,
I believe Congress is afraid to act because they are complicit. They know that once the usurper is brought to justice, they are next.

How about torches, pitchforks, tar, and feathers?

CONFUSION:   Pelosi Says Constitution Spells Out ‘Two Co-Equal Branches’ Of Government

No Nancy. No.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi must be taking night classes at the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez School of Government.

Pelosi, the 79-year-old third-highest ranking official in the U.S. government, was speaking to the Center for American Progress today when she mistakenly said there are “two co-equal branches” of government, before correcting herself to say there are three.

Watch:

“First of all, let me just say, we take an oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,” Pelosi said.

“Democrats take that oath seriously, and we are committed to honoring our oath of office. I’m not sure that our Republican colleagues share that commitment, and I’m not sure that the president of the United States does, too,” she claimed.

“So, in light of the fact that the beauty of the Constitution is a system of checks and balances— two co-equal branches— three co-equal branches of government,” she corrected with a laugh.

“A check and balance on each other,” she continued. “Con— Constitution spells out the pri— pa, uh, the duties of Congress and one of them is oversight of the president of the United States, another one of them is to impeach the president of the United States,” Pelosi said.

In November, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rallied supporters on Facebook to pitch in and help Democrats take back “all three chambers of Congress.”

“…the Progressive movement works and it wins in all districts…If we work our butts off to make sure that we take back all three chambers of Congress– three chambers of government…,” she said during the virtual appearance.

She clarified that she meant the “presidency, the Senate and the House.”

According to the Constitution, the three branches of government are the legislative, executive and judicial.
