American Sniper Academy Awards Ad

Actress Stacey Dash says Hollywood snubbed the smash hit “American Sniper” at the Oscars because of Clint Eastwood’s speech at the RNC.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: How pervasive are politics in Hollywood right where we can’t even watch the Oscars? Everybody has their freedom of speech but you would think there would be some who feel a different way now. Are there some being silenced?

Stacey Dash: Oh yeah, being silenced. And I think they are so chummy with this administration. They love it so much…

Brian Kilmeade: But, let me ask you something. Clint Eastwood, 84 years old does the American sniper. Now, it seems Hollywood liked “The Hurt Locker.” They liked “Lone Survivor.” What’s the problem? Was Clint Eastwood the problem with American Sniper” do you think because he was at the RNC talking to the chair?

Stacey Dash: Probably. I would say probably. Which is so sad. It’s Clint Eastwood. And that film was the most beautiful film I’ve seen in a very long time.

Oscars are now used for propaganda, leftist speeches and favoritism for all things of the left. Glad I have stopped watching. I knew they would rip off American Sniper.

Hollywood Elites Snub Historic War Movie “American Sniper” – But Lo...

American Sniper will likely have earned around $320 million domestic and crossed the $400m mark at the worldwide box office by Oscar Sunday. The movie is the eighth-biggest grossing Best Picture nominee of all-time, ahead of The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring ($313m) and Forrest Gump ($329m).

But on Sunday the film won only one Oscar for sound editing.

When the film was announced on Sunday at least one actor (Jason Bateman) refused to applaud. Viewers were quick to point it out.

While the elites took satisfaction with snubbing the pro-American classic, they didn’t complain about the snipers outside the venue protecting the aristocracy on their big night.
lapd sniper
LAPD snipers kept Hollywood’s elite safe on Sunday, while the elites snubbed American Sniper.

The hypocrisy never ends.
Are you really surprised?

Excellent!

The Oscars have been a shame for me to watch for years!

I STOPPED WATCHING OVER TWENTY YEARS AGO . GOT TIRED OF THE STUPID POLITICAL COMMENTS FROM A BUNCH OF AIRHEADS .

I agree I  cannot stomach watching it nor  bear to hear the babbling of the leftist fools. I think they are so obvious now that even some of the sheeple are getting a clue.

DITTO.  I can't remember the last time I watched these.

I cant stand the emeffin Oscars!  They worship their golden idol, and doogie houser stands on stage in his tidy whities!  Puts on an act to get attention (gay? Oh my!) appealing to the oblamea types.

I think the Oscars have become an extension of the politicians. Instead of judging the films, actors, etc on actual merit, they judge by political action instead. It is a shame it has come to this. I didn't watch because I knew what would happen. I wish I hadn't missed the part about Julie Andrews and Lady Gaga singing. I hadn't realized she had such a beautiful voice. I guess the name just doesn't fit for what I heard.

A Country Founded by Geniuses but Run by Idiots!

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but
not for entering and remaining in the country illegally — you might
live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or
to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion — you might
live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you MUST show your identification to board an airplane, cash a
check, buy liquor, or check out a library book and rent a video, but not
to vote for who runs the government — you might live in a nation that
was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the government wants to prevent stable, law-abiding citizens from
owning gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but gives twenty
F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If, in the nation’s largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but
not one 24-ounce soda, because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make
you fat — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is
 run by idiots.

If an 80-year-old woman or a three-year-old girl who is confined to a
wheelchair can be strip-searched by the TSA at the airport, but a woman
in a burka or a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head
searched — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but
is run by idiots.

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions
of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his
teacher is “cute,” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class
in grade school is perfectly acceptable — you might live in a nation
that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more
government regulation and intrusion, while not working is rewarded with
Food Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits, subsidized housing, and free
cell phones — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses
but is run by idiots.

If the government’s plan for getting people back to work is to
provide incentives for not working, by granting 99 weeks of unemployment
checks, without any requirement to prove that gainful employment was
diligently sought, but couldn’t be found — you might live in a nation
that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest
big-screen TV, while your neighbor buys iPhones, time shares, a
wall-sized do-it-all plasma screen TV and new cars, and the government
forgives his debt when he defaults on his mortgage — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If being stripped of your Constitutional right to defend yourself
makes you more “safe” according to the government — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the media panders to your openly socialist leader while the IRS targets groups with dissenting views— you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If your government 'cracks down' on legal gun sales to law abiding citizens while secretly supplying illegal guns to Mexican drug cartels— you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If your local government (Chicago) outlawed gun ownership for 'the safety of its citizens' and now boasts the worst murder rate in the country — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

What a country!

How about we give God a reason to continue blessing America?

That is excellent and so true.

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.

You don't get to interrupt me
