Are Republicans seeking to force a shutdown of the federal government?

Should we do 'Whatever It Takes' to balance our budget and reduce spending?

Get This: House Speaker John Boehner, an Ohio Republican, said on Feb. 17 that he won’t accept a short-term extension of the government’s current spending authority without cuts.

How far is too far?

Should Congress approve short-term extensions with spending cuts in the interim?

The Republican-controlled House voted 235-189 to cut at least $61 billion from fat-cat spending! This could set the stage for a dog-fight with Dems! If so that dog-fight could bring government to a standstill after March 4! That is when the current continuing resolution expires.

So, do what it takes? Or play it safe?

Congress remains doing nothing at all about runaway federal spending. In fact and deed, the Federal Government owns the American people. The American people think they are playing it safe.  The poles tell us half plan to vote for a Marxist revolutionary. The government is not going to shut down. It is going to become a communist dictatorship.

Black's Law Dictionary, under lawful, tells me that legal is the form of law, but that lawful contemplates the substance of law. Legal is the performance in conformance with the forms and usages of law, for instance, machinegunning down resistence, or otherwise depriving people of their God-given rights, such as the IRS confiscating one's existence. This is sanctioned by America's makers and keepers of the law.

Black's goes on to say that legal goes no further than to denote complince with positive, technical, or formal rules; while lawful imports moral substance or ethical permissibility. A further distinction is that the word legal is used as a synonym for construction. Thus legal fraud is fraud implied or inferred by law or made out by construction.

My question is why does America's legal institution not recognize the lawless acts of America's government.

My question is WHEN do we do something about the lawlessness of America?  Hasn't this gone on too long as it is?  Is there now way to stop the spending and executive orders that remove parts of our Constitution a little at a time..?..When does all this come to an end and we get our Country back from a form of government that looks like it is in place to destroy America from the inside out? All I ask is WHEN....

When? When We The People stop all the talking, grab our guns, march on Washington and drag the potus, vp, senators, congressmen and the supreme court judges out of there holes. Put them on trial for treason, hang the lot and put in your average joe into those spots. I'm sure an everyday American can make laws and pass bills that everybody can understand without those $5 lawyer words. Common sense government, when this country got started we didn't need all the laws they have now. As far as lawlessness goes, if you're a repeat offender, then you are not worth money keeping you alive, you are thrown into a cell, if your family don't pay to feed you, why should we pay for your food, starve.

Makes me glad I'm NOT a politician. But we have to get OWNERSHIP of our country back including the vote count being done by AMERICANS IN AMERICA.

If the so called government cannot get a budget in order; Why do we have to pay taxes?

Because they said so and will use abuse of powers in imprison anyone who doesn't even tho that law was never ratified by the number of states that are required. Income tax is AGAINST THE LAW. But, hey, like Joseph said, we are only under the illusion that we the people have any control.

Do what it takes..finally!  The government shuts down, with the exception of vital services, every weekend.  I've not found it so terribly unsettling.

General Norman Schwarzkopf once stated, “The truth of the matter is that you always know the right thing to do. The hard part is doing it.”

It is time to do the HARD PART.

I agree 100% !  At the date mentioned and the Usurper POTUS is still in power, he will Gladly cause a Govt. shut-down to secure his plans for Total Dictator-ship !   If, a shut-down happens, We Must Call His Bluff !  God forbid that the Usurper will NOT be our POTUS at that time !           Semper Fidelis

I second that motion. It is time to do the HARD PART.

When you understand what they mean when they say things like create jobs. You really do not want them to have time that would allow them to be together which is the problem with the country. You see, the only way a government can create jobs is in doing the following.
They need to make people think they acted in a way to help the country. They say that they created 100,000 jobs. What do they mean? Well, they pass a law. This law requires that they hire an additional local government official, in each town. The law that they will be enforcing is the requirement against lemonade stands, and yard sales. In enforcing the new laws they will make 1,000,000,000 in fines and permits each year!
The only way they create jobs is by creating new regulations on each of us. Limiting our ability to provide for families and pursue happiness. The strangle us to fool us.

SICK: Leprosy On The Rise In Los Angeles

Ahh, the joys of open borders and Democrat leadership.

California is not just a public toilet but now there is evidence that leprosy is on the rise in Los Angeles County.

Barack Obama changed US law in 2016 and allowed immigrants with blistering STDs and leprosy to migrate to the US.

Medscape reported:

Leprosy, also known as Hansen’s disease, is rarely seen in the United States, but cases continue to emerge in Los Angeles County, a new report says.

“Hansen’s disease still exists, and we need to educate medical students and physicians,” coauthor Dr. Maria Teresa Ochoa from Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, told Reuters Health by email.

Dr. Ochoa and colleagues identified 187 patients with the disease in a review of medical records from their leprosy clinic spanning 1973 to 2018. Most patients were Latino, originating from Mexico, and they experienced a median delay in diagnosis of more than three years, the team reports JAMA Dermatology, online August 7.

Multibacillary leprosy (MB) cases outnumbered paucibacillary leprosy (PB) cases by nearly eight to one (88.6% vs. 11.4%, respectively), and Latino patients were more likely than non-Latino patients to have MB, as were patients from Central or South America (versus other regions).

Most patients (80.7%) received multidrug therapy, and most (92.6%) received antibiotics for more than two years, especially if they had MB.

Only about half of patients (56.7%) had World Health Organization (WHO) grade 0 disability (no signs or symptoms suggestive of leprosy or disability) at the one-year follow-up, whereas 16.0% had grade 1 disability (loss of protective sensation) and 26.2% had grade 2 disability (visible deformity) at the last follow-up.

Among the patients who lost protective sensation, 87.7% (50/57) did not regain it following therapy.
