GOP considers holding off on repealing ObamaCare taxes

Image result for cut taxes nowCongressional Republicans are considering holding off on repealing some of ObamaCare's taxes, according to lobbyists familiar with the discussions.
GOP lawmakers on the House Ways and Means Committee discussed the possibility of keeping some of the taxes in place during a retreat last week at the Library of Congress, the sources say.
Even if some of the taxes are not removed as part of the initial repeal bill, it does not necessarily mean they will remain indefinitely. Some ObamaCare taxes could be dealt with as part of a larger tax reform bill later in the year.
Still, there is at least a possibility that some taxes could remain in place to provide revenue for a replacement healthcare measure.
Discussions are still in flux, however, and ObamaCare taxes could be repealed right away. Including the law’s taxes in a repeal bill could be an easier political move for Republicans, given the importance many have placed on repealing as much of the law as possible.

I am not worried. Trump will crush these rinos and all who stand in his way. That's what he did with his opponents when he ran for president as well. Once Trump gets in, the opposition (rinos and democraps) will cave in very quickly. Trump will fight the establishment, which he already proved with the picks for his cabinet. Trump will make America great again and nobody will stop him.

The politicians that are not willing to repeal Obamacare do not have to live under Obamacare! They have their  golden parachute health care program for life paid for by the tax payers.

How much have these GOP "leaders" taken in bribes?

Not that i completely agree with what might be the reason for the idea of delaying completely striking down the law doing away with Obamacare for good, yet it maybe the GOP wishes a few million more people become more aware of just how bad Obamacare is. The GOP might change a few things with the law, an so doing so more people like democrats suffer under Obamacare an learn first hand just how bad Obamacare really is before completely dismantling the bad law.

Make the democrat voters, the supporters of the Left suffer under Obamacare like the rest of the country? They should do something like that to wake the creeps up to what the Left has been doing to the rest of the country not that they care about what others go through, they mostly only care about themselves.

The House Speaker AND the Majority Leader in the Senate BOTH have 'skin in the game' of PPACA

The LAW that was signed by Obama  - ruled on in SCOTUS IS Patent Protection Affordable Care Act of 2010

ALL others under the name of ACA Affordable Care Act is ILLEGAL and there for Un-Constitutional

With over 30,000 pages of regulations from HHS this monstrosity needs to be REPEALED

Both the House & the Senate seem to be takimg a 'wait and see' approach

Waiting for President Trump to make his recommendations on ObozoCare

of course republikrats are going to continue the taxes, they want the Obama plan to destroy the nation to succeed so their new world order plans can go forward.  they are traitors!!!!!  I hope and pray that Trump will follow through on his campaign promises, using executive orders if necessary to abolish everything fuhrer Obama has done to the detriment of We the People!!!!!

i don't think its that simple. Look at the gains the GOP has had since Obama has been president. They are playing the game rather well and have done something remarkable the past 8 year. Now, i totally agree it hasn't been much of a benefit for the middle class and the rest of us conservative by no means, we were harmed considerably, and yet they now have total control. You have to admit the people were awaken that were asleep having Obama run wild the past few years? The GOP (we too) are to blame for it. They have wiped the floor with the democrats in the past few years, big time. The best they have realized since the 1920's.

President Trump will come through with the promises he made during the campaign, and yet, the GOP are looking for total defeat of the their (ours too) arch enemy, the Left and the nasty filthy democrat party. That i think is what's going on. It surely pissed me off that Obama was given free rein for the past 8 years, yet they gave (GOP) them the rope to hang themselves and they certainly did just that. We are on the road to greatness once again. Merry Christmas and the best in the coming new year.

To Congress:  Lead; follow; or get the H*ll out of the way.  But stop trying to block our President Elect's policies that were mandated from the good people of this country!!!

Trump will crush these renegade members of Congress, all of the opposition, the media and anyone who stands in his way just like he crushed all opponents to get to the White House. Trump cannot and will not tolerate any dissent when he will drain the swamp, fight the establishment, lock her up and make America great again. We the people voted for all that in a landslide victory for Trump.

In other words...who ever wrote this article has no clue...lots of "maybes'

Proof yet again that many of the gop are traitors who care NOTHING about We the People, but only care about what THEY want.  Time to put them out to pasture permanently!

SICK: Leprosy On The Rise In Los Angeles

Ahh, the joys of open borders and Democrat leadership.

California is not just a public toilet but now there is evidence that leprosy is on the rise in Los Angeles County.

Barack Obama changed US law in 2016 and allowed immigrants with blistering STDs and leprosy to migrate to the US.

Medscape reported:

Leprosy, also known as Hansen’s disease, is rarely seen in the United States, but cases continue to emerge in Los Angeles County, a new report says.

“Hansen’s disease still exists, and we need to educate medical students and physicians,” coauthor Dr. Maria Teresa Ochoa from Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, told Reuters Health by email.

Dr. Ochoa and colleagues identified 187 patients with the disease in a review of medical records from their leprosy clinic spanning 1973 to 2018. Most patients were Latino, originating from Mexico, and they experienced a median delay in diagnosis of more than three years, the team reports JAMA Dermatology, online August 7.

Multibacillary leprosy (MB) cases outnumbered paucibacillary leprosy (PB) cases by nearly eight to one (88.6% vs. 11.4%, respectively), and Latino patients were more likely than non-Latino patients to have MB, as were patients from Central or South America (versus other regions).

Most patients (80.7%) received multidrug therapy, and most (92.6%) received antibiotics for more than two years, especially if they had MB.

Only about half of patients (56.7%) had World Health Organization (WHO) grade 0 disability (no signs or symptoms suggestive of leprosy or disability) at the one-year follow-up, whereas 16.0% had grade 1 disability (loss of protective sensation) and 26.2% had grade 2 disability (visible deformity) at the last follow-up.

Among the patients who lost protective sensation, 87.7% (50/57) did not regain it following therapy.
