The American Humanist Association (AHA) is about to learn a very important lesson -- folks around Gainesville, Georgia don’t take kindly to out-of-town atheists trying to bully their children.

More than 200 people turned out in defiance of the self-described atheist group early Thursday morning for an impromptu prayer rally in the middle of the Chestatee High School football field.

The previous day, the atheists (acting on behalf of a single, unnamed citizen) sent a letter to school officials demanding that the football coaching staff stop participating in team prayers and that they remove all biblical references and religious messages from team documents.

To best of anyone’s knowledge around Gainesville, no one associated with the football team has a problem with the voluntary prayers. The atheists says that’s beside the point citing the Establishment Clause.

The atheists apparently went undercover to photograph coaches engaged in what they considered to be unseemly and unconstitutional behavior with the teenage football players.

“We have received reports that CHS coaches have joined players in prayer while standing in a circle, hands interlocked,” the atheists breathlessly reported in their letter to the Hall County School District.

Hands interlocked? I can only imagine that atheists across the fruited plain shuddered at such damning evidence.

The atheists also got upset because the team workout schedule included the words “Fortitude 2014, Gal. 6:9” and the cheerleaders wrote a Bible verse on a large banner: “Iron Sharpens Iron, Proverbs 21:17.”

Cleanse the school of religion or prepare to be sued, the atheists warned.

As we say in the Deep South, local residents are preparing to back up and bring it.

“If the atheist group doesn’t like the prayer, tell them to stick their fingers in their ears,” said one caller to radio station WDUN.

Go Gainseville; give AHA the "hell" they deserve!

People are just going to have to get in the face of these people. Prayer, flying the American flag, IRS, EPA, census bureau. Demand they leave your property. Stop cowering down to these people. This is America.

I agree...why are muslims allowed in this country and permitted to build mosques all over our Judeo-Christian country??????

OK Georgia, how come you teach illegal aliens in your midst IN SPANISH.

Why don't you guys have the balls to tell the Mexicans TO LEARN ENGLISH??

Satan is taking all he can before Jesus return. So many will discover, as did the rich man who mocked Lazarus, then found himself in Hell while watching Lazarus in Heaven, that God will NOT be mocked!

Coming to Georgia and telling them to stop praying is like telling a life long gun owner he can't hunt here in the mountains. The atheists that start pushing to hard just might piss off one of these Grandfathers and they just might get a interdiction to God Him self. Sooner then they wanted. There are many Mountian Men in the mountains of North Georgia. Some so far back in the Mountians the sun don't shine. This will be a interesting fight. Bring it no Atheist I can't wait to see how you fair here with this attack on these Mountain Christian. The bears have got to eat too.

I'm liking what's going on in Georgia.  My dad grew up there and I may have to move there and complete the cycle.

Pamela, we here in The great state of Georgia are always welcoming Constitutional Christian Americans to hold our ground to a higher value. You are welcome to be part of real Americans here in North Georgia. Perhaps the South will Rise Again.

I think there is a church on nearly every conner in my GA town. I love it!

The real question is do they preach the gospel of Jesus Christ or do they merely hold their positions of trust in vain? Why do so many of our church leaders fail to preach the truth about current events in this country and how the Word of God debunks and destroys these godless principles used to fuel the division among our citizens? Are they refusing to preach the truth for fear of losing their tax exempt status? If so, they have prostituted themselves to the government of men!

SICK: Leprosy On The Rise In Los Angeles

Ahh, the joys of open borders and Democrat leadership.

California is not just a public toilet but now there is evidence that leprosy is on the rise in Los Angeles County.

Barack Obama changed US law in 2016 and allowed immigrants with blistering STDs and leprosy to migrate to the US.

Medscape reported:

Leprosy, also known as Hansen’s disease, is rarely seen in the United States, but cases continue to emerge in Los Angeles County, a new report says.

“Hansen’s disease still exists, and we need to educate medical students and physicians,” coauthor Dr. Maria Teresa Ochoa from Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, told Reuters Health by email.

Dr. Ochoa and colleagues identified 187 patients with the disease in a review of medical records from their leprosy clinic spanning 1973 to 2018. Most patients were Latino, originating from Mexico, and they experienced a median delay in diagnosis of more than three years, the team reports JAMA Dermatology, online August 7.

Multibacillary leprosy (MB) cases outnumbered paucibacillary leprosy (PB) cases by nearly eight to one (88.6% vs. 11.4%, respectively), and Latino patients were more likely than non-Latino patients to have MB, as were patients from Central or South America (versus other regions).

Most patients (80.7%) received multidrug therapy, and most (92.6%) received antibiotics for more than two years, especially if they had MB.

Only about half of patients (56.7%) had World Health Organization (WHO) grade 0 disability (no signs or symptoms suggestive of leprosy or disability) at the one-year follow-up, whereas 16.0% had grade 1 disability (loss of protective sensation) and 26.2% had grade 2 disability (visible deformity) at the last follow-up.

Among the patients who lost protective sensation, 87.7% (50/57) did not regain it following therapy.
