The American Humanist Association (AHA) is about to learn a very important lesson -- folks around Gainesville, Georgia don’t take kindly to out-of-town atheists trying to bully their children.

More than 200 people turned out in defiance of the self-described atheist group early Thursday morning for an impromptu prayer rally in the middle of the Chestatee High School football field.

The previous day, the atheists (acting on behalf of a single, unnamed citizen) sent a letter to school officials demanding that the football coaching staff stop participating in team prayers and that they remove all biblical references and religious messages from team documents.

To best of anyone’s knowledge around Gainesville, no one associated with the football team has a problem with the voluntary prayers. The atheists says that’s beside the point citing the Establishment Clause.

The atheists apparently went undercover to photograph coaches engaged in what they considered to be unseemly and unconstitutional behavior with the teenage football players.

“We have received reports that CHS coaches have joined players in prayer while standing in a circle, hands interlocked,” the atheists breathlessly reported in their letter to the Hall County School District.

Hands interlocked? I can only imagine that atheists across the fruited plain shuddered at such damning evidence.

The atheists also got upset because the team workout schedule included the words “Fortitude 2014, Gal. 6:9” and the cheerleaders wrote a Bible verse on a large banner: “Iron Sharpens Iron, Proverbs 21:17.”

Cleanse the school of religion or prepare to be sued, the atheists warned.

As we say in the Deep South, local residents are preparing to back up and bring it.

“If the atheist group doesn’t like the prayer, tell them to stick their fingers in their ears,” said one caller to radio station WDUN.

That is their first amendment right and the atheist can call on their god Satan too. I would follow any laws or court cases the same way 0bama does... ignore it!

I've said before a thousand times. NO WHERE in the United States Constitution refers to the separation of "church and state. NO WHERE!

Michael, your 110% right, there is No were in the Constitution. The liberals have used a letter that was send to a church in Va. Because they wanted to make a church the church of the state. That is the lie they use to push this lie as liers do. Good comment! Keep saying it.

This needs to happen a lot more.It offends me that they are offended so whose rights are more important?

The problem becomes when students are told: IF you don't pray with us, you can't play. What if you were commanded to attend Catholic Church services or you can't attend the sports event at your child's school?

It's a matter of Freedom of Religion. Remember our Constitution says: Your right of religious freedom must not be demanded if you run for political office. We value our Rights to be religious, and to pick the religion of our choice. We have many citizens of many religious beliefs, Christian or otherwise. What if you were forced to put your hand on the Koran in court and pledge to tell the truth, would you object? The place for religion is in our homes and churches as we please, not commanded! We value our right to pray as we wish, not commanded to pray, or else.

of another young black gay escort was found at the West Hollywood home of Ed Buck, a top Democrat donor and political activist.

As previously reported, a black gay escort named Gemmel Moore died of a meth overdose at Ed Buck’s West Hollywood home in July of 2017.

The LA County District Attorney’s Office previously declined to prosecute Ed Buck saying the evidence was “insufficient to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that (Buck) is responsible for the death of Gemmel Moore,” which sparked an outrage from family members and others in the community.

Jasmyne Cannick told FOX and Friends nearly a dozen black men have come forward to speak on their experiences with “serial predator” Ed Buck.
Cannick also went off on the Democrat Party: “Over 77% of black people in California vote Democratic. We vote for Democrats.

It is a shame that when something like this happens, when you have the chair of your state party when at the time of this , Eric Bauman, who was willing to turn a blind eye as well as instruct others not to speak on it. As a black woman, as a black Democrat, I expect more from my party.

Last week, a black male was seen entering Ed Buck’s seedy LA apartment.
