Image result for national debt in trump's first month went down by $12 billion

When so-called “fact-checkers” begin to politicize their arguments against the right, you can bet things are getting bad, but that’s the world in which we are currently living.

PolitiFact, one of the so-called fact-checking websites that rates the accuracy of claims made by politicians and elected officials, has entered the realm of spreading false information by labeling as mostly false something President Donald Trump said that was accurate.

The website decided to fact-check one of Trump’s tweets about the national debt.

He said: “The media has not reported that the national debt in my first month went down by $12 billion vs a $200 billion increase in Obama first mo.”

The media has not reported that the National Debt in my first month went down by $12 billion vs a $200 billion increase in Obama first mo.

The website concluded that while “the numbers check out,” the tweet was “mostly false.” What?

The website then suggested that the drop was not significant because the national debt fluctuates. Ultimately the debt accumulation will return, so Trump’s claim is false.

The facts are there and they check out. From a fact-checking standpoint, it would seem there is nothing wrong with what Trump said. Enter left-wing radicals who manipulate the truth to fit their agenda.

Incidents like this turn fact-checking into a joke. PolitiFact and other so-called fact-checkers shouldn’t be surprised when they get tossed to the wayside because they are no more believable than fake news outlets.

The left is already suffering from a lack of public trust. From misleading polls about the presidential election to liberal news outlets deliberately publishing false information about the president, it’s doing itself no favors by buying into this “mostly false” story about Trump.

To make things worse, the mainstream media won’t report this misleading information because it doesn’t support their anti-Trump narrative.

Since they won’t cover it, we will, because the public needs to know how the left works to discredit Trump.

Your post is right on the money!  I would love to be able to quote you and spread this true definition.

Steven, I agree and in reality and in my opinion they also show that THEY are the Racist. It appears that their whole life and mindset is set on Race and bigotry but is pointed in the wrong direction. If they truly want to see the racist and bigots, all they have to do is look into a mirror.

Only the left can say you're right, but that it was a lie. What?

"Fact Checkers"  the last bastion of the liberal/socialist/communist/progressive/Atheist/thugs/Democrats of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA!

who checks the fact checkers.......?

Probably similar to Snopes, the two Liberals sitting the dark basement picking their noses.  There is a sucker born every minute, and those who believe this garbage they gin out, had best stop, and actually "think" about this, doesn't this sound a bit like envious slander, and gutter gossip???

"Politifact admitted, “The numbers check out. And in fact, the total public debt has dropped another $22 billion … according to data from the U.S. Department of the Treasury.”

The website then suggested that the drop was not significant because the national debt fluctuates. Ultimately the debt accumulation will return, so Trump’s claim is false. "

The 'national debt fluctuates' then how can the total be accurate at any given time?

Sounds like  BS to me!!!!

Part of the Communist defamation campaign against President Trump.

Fact-check.org was listed on NextDoor.com of which I am a member, by a nextdoor neighbor.  I feel we have very few to trust, anymore.  They even listed Spokes.com as being legit.  I don't trust them, at all.  I am so sick of the slams against President Trump.  He's everything we have needed for far too long.  The left are filthy liars.

I'm a lead for our local Nextdoor.  Has anybody pointed out to them that you're not supposed to talk politics on Nextdoor?

Hi, Marilyn Calkins.  Apparently, the leads did not see the post as such.  She was just stating where you could differentiate fake news from real news with no mention of politics.

Fact checkers are liberals and they lie 24/7.

Gohmert: Dems Will Drag Out Impeachment — Try To Get ‘Best Socialist’ Nominated For President

During an appearance on Huntsville, AL radio’s WVNN on Thursday, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) offered his best assessment of what House Democrats were trying to accomplish with their impeachment efforts.

Gohmert told WVNN’s “The Jeff Poor Show” impeachment could tie up the Democratic Party’s presidential campaign efforts but predicted Democrats would use the occasion to nominate “the best socialist” they can.

“They would lose in the Senate,” Gohmert said on impeachment. “And besides that, the entire time it was on trial in the Senate, the Democrats who are running for president wouldn’t be allowed to campaign. That’s in the Constitution. They wouldn’t be able to campaign. I just can’t imagine them wanting to do that because if they send it to the Senate, they have now perfectly set up the scenario of 1996, where they will reassure Donald Trump is reelected as president. They don’t want to do that. They’re probably going to drag this thing out as long as they possibly can … through Iowa, through primaries — try to get the best socialist they can to be nominated.”

“Then just end up and say, ‘Now we’re close enough to the general election. We’ve thrown mud at the president through the House,’” he continued. “What they’re really doing — they’re using taxpayer funds to campaign against Trump. That’s all this is — a campaign fund that taxpayers are paying for in order to try to throw mud at the president. I’ll be surprised if they have that vote, but I can’t imagine they want to set up this president for reelection by having a trial in the Senate where they lose.”
