Donald Trump has an ace in the hole for dealing with attacks from his Republican rivals

donald trump jeb bushAfter Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) released a video criticizing real-estate magnate Donald Trump for h..., Trump had a familiar response at the ready.

"Recently, Rand Paul called me and asked me to play golf," Trump said in a statement. "I easily beat him on the golf course and will even more easily beat him now, in the world in the politics."

Then he added: "Senator Paul does not mention that after trouncing him in golf I made a significant donation to the eye center with which he is affiliated."

Republican candidates are learning the hard way that Donald Trump has an ace in the hole when they come after him.

For one thing, they have probably dealt with him in the past — and there's a good chance they have asked him for money.

Since announcing his presidential campaign earlier this summer, Trump has traded barbs with many of his GOP rivals over immigration, foreign policy, and his conservative credentials.

But rather than engaging with them in detailed policy debates, the real-estate magnate has instead revealed embarrassing anecdotes about his personal relationships with the candidates, providing a somewhat unprecedented level of transparency into the interactions between politicians and the superrich.

I think my jaw dropped yesterday while listening to Fox news.   They were saying Bush was ahead in some poll, and the usual Rubio.    As far as I can see, these are their favorite 2.

I believe that they are Delphying (spelling?) their viewers.

and now they are pushing Carly, Hillary with brains, Carly is for Carly and she has a price like the rest of the establishment.  Exceptions: Ted and Mike Lee.

You are exactly right about Ted Cruz and Lee. I also like Bobby Jindal from Louisiana.

Trump is a Washington crony. He made this clear in the republican debate. He's been buying favors, like the development of the Old Post Office in Washington. The truth behind the man is far more sordid. He's a slick con man.

Look at this:

Trump received millions for promoting this scam. Thousands of poor naïve people were scammed out of their savings. Trump's philosophy: If god did not want them sheared, he would not have made them sheep. We don't want this clown as president.

Did you read the stories on the links in your posts... I read the Australian story and it clearly shows that the charges were overturned and dismissed.  That the complainant was made to pay damages and legal fees, for their false claims, by the Australian supreme court.  Besides, Trump endorsement of the product did not sanction all the details of their business and certainly was not an endorsement to brake the law.

Lots of people are out there looking to make a buck by suing the rich... or making consumer claims of fraud and other malpractice charges, in hope of getting a quick settlement.  These claims fit that boat.

Col. Nelson,

I agree with you. All we have to do is look at his post. god????? And, "we don't want this clown as president."

I think you and I and many others on here know which side of fence this person is on!!! For those that don't, it is obvious to me he is a either a demorat or a Ran Paul supporter.

No question, there is nothing "fair and balanced" about Faux when the chips are down. They are pro-rino-Bush.

Trump has the experience and resources too uncover many of the skeletons in the GOP's closets... they don't know how to deal with him.  I hope Trump has good security.

I know there were several articles that said he beefed up security after the El Chapo threats...

Trump has done something no one else dare, he has started the conversation on issues that we NEED TO TALK about on both sides. Give me you ideas and what you think we all need to do. FORGET THE PC CRAP. If some ones feelings get hurt GROW UP and get a tougher skin.

Trump is not my first choice , Cruz has shown that Texan skin and being married to a legal from Aus. whose parents came here thru Ellis with only $10 in the pockets ,barely spoke English with 2 kids youngest 3 yrs old ,a blind Grandmother . All of them ww2 refugees came here expecting nothing , settled in worked very hard at learning  English and build a good life without forgetting What the Socialist took form them ( their farm , their country , all they had was what was ON THEIR BACKS.

Ted Cruz and some of the others know how it went with their own families and I feel we have to KNOW WHO HAS THIS COUNTRIES BEST INTRESTS IN MIND not what the lobbyist want.

Yep everyone has a sad story a rags to riches immigration story. Tired of the BS.

Trump is First & Foremost a BUSINESSMAN!!!

Trump is NOT a careiar politicion

Trump is NOY a Community Orginaztor

What Trump says 'Embodies the sperit of what every, flag waving, TRUE United States of American Citizen knows o be THR TRUTH!!!!

Deep State Treason:  Former State Dept. Official Under Trump Tells China To Quit Negotiating Until Trump Is Removed In 2020

Deep state traitors no longer hide their deep hatred for the American people —

Mrs. Susan Thornton, the former acting assistant secretary of state in the Trump administration, told her Beijing audience to stop negotiating until President Trump is removed from office in 2020.

Until July 2018, she was Acting Assistant Secretary for East Asian and Pacific Affairs at the Department of State and led East Asia policy making amid crises with North Korea, escalating trade tensions with China, and a fast-changing international environment.

The Conservative Treehouse and The South China Morning News reported:

A former official in the Trump administration has said that China can weather the storm brought by the trade war with the United States but might have to “keep steady, keep their heads down and wait” for change in the White House.

Susan Thornton, former acting assistant secretary of state to US President Donald Trump, told a gathering in Shanghai on Wednesday that she hoped a trade deal between the US and China could be concluded by next month.

But the reality was that it would “take a while” for China and the US to talk about cooperation again, Thornton, who in 20 years rose to become the US State Department’s chief negotiator for East Asia and Pacific affairs, told the South China Morning Post.

“I want to be optimistic,” said Thornton, whose 27-year career in Washington ended in July. “I tell all our foreign counterparts they should keep steady, keep their heads down and wait. [They should] try to not let anything change dramatically.”

“If this sceptical attitude towards talking diplomacy continues in this administration, you might have to wait till another administration,” Thornton said at an event held by National Committee of US-China relations and Shanghai’s American Chamber.
