Joe Biden claimed tonight that he worked with Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping on the Paris Climate Accord.
Except the current Chinese President is Xi Jinping.
Deng Xiapoing left office in 1992 and has been dead for 23 years.
Remember when Democrats predicted the imminent decline of the GOP?
The theory was that Republicans were so out of touch with women and ethnic minorities that they would soon be relegated to the status of a “permanent minority” — supported only by Southern white men and incapable of recapturing the White House.
Donald Trump’s victory has put an end to this fantasy. Now it’s the Democrats who are facing their own “doomsday” scenario.
A recent analysis conducted by Third Way — a self-described “centrist” think tank — argues that Democrats are evolving into a “coastal” party. They have strong bases in California, New York and Massachusetts but are slowly ceding the rest of the country to Republicans.
Third Way compared 2016 election results in the two areas and found an astounding asymmetry:
In California, New York and Massachusetts, home to roughly 24 million voters, voters chose Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump by a large margin, 65% to 35%.
But in the remaining 47 states, home to 105 million voters, voters broke for Trump by a decisive 52% to 48% margin.
The geographic concentration of the pro-Hillary vote is one reason Clinton’s supposed popular vote “victory” rings so hollow. Clinton ran up the score in a liberal state like California, where she bested Trump by some 4.3 million votes.
But that single-state advantage is simply not reflective of the broader national pattern, which favored Trump, Third Way found.
Recent voting patterns in Congress point to another disastrous trend for Democrats: They are fast becoming a “two-region” party.
Look at their mascot, it shows who they are, jackasses.
they are well on their way on the road to irrelevantville
Philip, somehow we have to set off a lightning rod under Congress because they including the RINOS are dragging their feet. Write to your congressmen, including Senators, and let them know they had better get aboard and support the PRESIDENT we elected. Almost 64 MILLION of us have voted for PRESIDENT Trump. Obviously, Graham, Rubio, McCain - who only won 44,965,528 with 173 Electoral College votes in 2008...aren't anything to respect or look to for leadership. We must tell them what we demand be done. We elected PRESIDENT Trump - nationally. We demand they support him, his agenda and his appointees.
In the November election and the Super Bowl we saw how dramatically and how fast things can change, and while we seem to have the upper hand now we need to remember how we got here.... by keeping intense pressure on our representatives to do what was needed. Trump is a great leader, but he cannot do it all himself because we, the people were too lax for too long and we have too many ridiculous laws and other obstacles to individual freedom.
The left will not destroy itself easily, as they have access to vast amounts of money, the media and Hollyweird. Yet, in a Republic there needs to be an opposition party, but that party must not be anti-American. Getting there will be tricky, because it means significantly downsizing the Federal government, which means getting politicians to vote themselves out of power.
"Clinton ran up the score in a liberal state like California, where she bested Trump by some 4.3 million votes."
You mean 4.3 million illegals!
Barry, did you hear Congressman Deleon from CA saying how "half my family who are here are ILLEGALS who have social security numbers, driver's licenses, green cards - all of which can be bought"... his own words proving your statement.
He should be immediately removed from office. By his own mouth, in front of thousands of people he has admitted to helping people break the laws of this country. He has openly showed disrespect to all of the LEGAL citizens. He has shown he intentionally doesn't give a damn about this country.
I'm starting to think the only way to stop them are citizen arrests, and a people's court....
If the government doesn't care that people are being judged by sharia law, why can't we come up with our own courts like you said. How about We the People's court! Then those arrested by a citizen can be brought to justice.
