‘Democratic’ School Takes Students On This Shocking Field Trip; Parents LIVID

School administrator takes students on field trip to adult toy store.

Starri Hedges, executive director of Gaia Democratic School in Minneapolis, Minn., and the school’s board members stand by their decision that a recent field trip Hedges and students from the school took was in fact educational.

In a statement posted on the school’s website, they state: “Gaia Democratic School’s board of directors stands behind the premise of the field trip; we view it as a legitimate learning experience that relates directly to topics covered during our year-long Sexual Health class. Our in-class discussions paved the way to a store visit and the participants communicated to us that the trip was a positive educational experience. No student was required to attend.”

The field trip was to an adult toy store in Minneapolis called Smitten Kitten. Hedges took roughly a dozen students ranging from middle school to high school age. However, parents reportedly did not receive notice of the field trip before it took place. One parent, Lynn Floyd, is not satisfied with the school’s explanation of and justification for the trip. He filed a police report and has removed all three of his children from the school. Two of his children did attend the field trip. The younger of the two who attended is 11 years old.

In an interview on the FreeThinking Forum, Hedges discusses the ideas and principles behind the school, and the way the school views education. Being a child of the democratic school system herself, she believes in the idea of free-thinking learning in a democratic environment. During the interview, she stated: “The more you study the educational system in the United States, and the history of it, the more you will find that many things that we are still practicing in our schools today are really out of date, and are really much more about creating an obedient person, than about learning on a deep level.”

Hedges stated in her interview with the Minneapolis Star Tribune: “It was certainly the first time we have taken that kind of field trip and it will probably be our last, which I feel bad [about] because the kids had so much fun.”

THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION SHOULD BE PROSECUTED...!!

I think teachers that do this should be fired.  If you notice each time this happens it is after the fact.  I don't recall field trips w/o the consent of the Principal.  So with that both should be fired.  Yes the parents should be filing charges against the teacher and right now.

They should be filing CRIMINAL CHARGES!

If any regular American citizen took an 11 year old (or up to 17 year old) into a Porn Store you can bet your rear they would be slapped with criminal charges.  This Liberal teacher needs to be slapped with a separate charge for each child & include the same charges for the Principal and anyone else connected with the school who knew & condoned this action.

Something else just occurred to me about this..... Can't the employees of the porn shop be charged with something too for allowing the kids to stay and look around?

I was wondering that myself.  Isn't there a minimum age requirement to go into those places?

Hedges is guilty of child abuse and pedophilia. Fire her butt and send her to jail.

This is how they operate.  They did an Anti-Bullying presentation at my grandson's school, which was really just an introduction to homosexuality for 11 and 12 yr. olds.

They did not notify the parents of what they were going to do.  They later said, "We are sorry if some of the children and parents were upset.  Next time we will notify the parents prior to the event."  PURE BULL DUNG!

They did not want the parents to know what they were up to, just as in this case.  I hope all the parents sue the parties involved for corrupting the morals of minors, unlawful handling of a child and what ever other charges can be filed against them.  I hope the courts nail these SOB's to the wall and put them in jail for a long time and make them register as sex offenders so they can never be allowed near children again!

Parents and grandparents, aunts and uncles need to be more involved in what is going on in the schools today.

Just following the rule set down by the New York Judge

Teacher Do Not have to 'Know Anything To Teach'

Makes one wonder what 'the teacher BOUGHT' while at the Adult Toy Store . . . . .

OMG!!! Ruth Bader Ginsburg Voted Best Real-Life Hero At MTV Awards

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Monday was crowned the best real-life hero at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

The 86-year old judge — whose 2015 biopic The Notorious RBG help cement her as a cultural icon among Liberals — beat out tennis star Serena Williams, WWE wrestler Roman Reigns, and comedian Hannah Gadsby to take him the award.

Though it wasn’t a clean sweep for Ginsburg last night.

The RGB documentary lost the “Best Fight” category for “Ruth Bader Ginsburg vs. Inequality” to “Captain Marvel vs. Minn-Erva.”

The justice was absent from the ceremony in Santa Monica, California.

Last December, Ginsburg had surgery to remove cancerous growths on her left lung. She was released from the hospital in New York four days later and recuperated at home.

Earlier this year, Ginsburg missed three days of arguments, the first time that’s happened since she joined the court in 1993. Still, she was allowed to participate using court briefs and transcripts.

Ginsburg has had two previous bouts with cancer, in 1999 and 10 years later.

Flashback: Ruth Bader Ginsburg: A Pregnant Woman Is Not A ‘Mother’

Celebrated liberal U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg argued in an opinion released Tuesday that a pregnant woman is not a “mother.”

“[A] woman who exercises her constitutionally protected right to terminate a pregnancy is not a ‘mother’,” Ginsburg wrote in a footnote, which in turn responded to another footnote in the 20-page concurring opinion by Justice Clarence Thomas in the Box v. Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky Inc. case.

As Breitbart News’ legal editor Ken Klukowski reported, the case concerned a law signed by then-Governor (now Vice President) Mike Pence of Indiana in 2016, which required that the remains of an aborted fetus (or baby) be disposed of by cremation or burial. The law also prohibited abortion on the basis of sex, race, or disability alone.

The Court upheld the first part of the law, but declined to consider the selective-abortion ban until more appellate courts had ruled on it.

In his lengthy opinion — which delighted pro-life advocates, and distressed pro-choice activists — Thomas wrote that “this law and other laws like it promote a State’s compelling interest in preventing abortion from becoming a tool of modern-day eugenics.” He traced the racist and eugenicist beliefs of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, and warned that the Court would one day need to wrestle with abortion as form of racial discrimination.

In a footnote, Thomas attacked Ginsberg’s dissenting opinion, which argued the Court should not have deferred to the legal standard used by the litigants in the lower courts, but should have subjected the Indiana law to a more difficult standard instead, since it impacted “the right of [a] woman” to an abortion.

Ginsburg cited no legal authority for her claim that a pregnant woman is not a “mother.” The claim that a fetus is not a child is central to pro-choice arguments.
