Conservative activists to mobilize amid anti-Trump protests

As liberal protesters step up confrontations with Republican lawmakers, leaders of the original Tea Party movement that wrote the book on those tactics are reassembling their political army – dispatching activists to push a conservative agenda that includes tax reform and dismantling ObamaCare.

FreedomWorks, Tea Party Patriots and other groups are looking to keep pressure on GOP lawmakers to keep their 2016 campaign promises, and not buckle in the face of rowdy town hall protesters angry about the prospect of repealing the Affordable Care Act.

“A lot of people were elected to Congress based on bold promises about ObamaCare, tax reform and regulatory reform,” Noah Wall, FreedomWorks’ national director of campaigns, told Fox News. “We have to hold them to campaign promises, keep up the momentum and the energy. It’s time to get off the bench and get this to work.”

FreedomWorks plans to mobilize its network of grassroots organizations and unite with the Tea Party Patriots on March 15 for a “Day of Action” on Capitol Hill that will include a rally and visits to members of Congress.

The group will follow up with a “Month of Action,” set to include members driving constituents to congressional district offices and larger-scale rallies across the country to amplify their fiscally conservative message.

Wall says his group and its supporters want to capitalize on Republicans now controlling Congress and the White House, and achieve long-awaited policy objectives. If successful, their efforts could mark a revival of the eight-year-old Tea Party movement – a political revolt against big government under then-President Obama that crested with Republicans’ historic 2010 House takeover.

Tea Party Patriots national coordinator Jenny Beth Martin on Wednesday said the upcoming Capitol Hill events are to “make sure Republicans stay focused on repealing ObamaCare” and her group will follow up with its own busy month -- including daily, micro-focused activities like “Message Monday” and “Tweet Tuesday.”

She bristled at the suggestion the Tea Party movement has emerged from hibernation, arguing it was instrumental over the past several election cycles in helping Republicans take control of the House, Senate and then the White House.

“We are not dead, and we have never gone away,” Martin told Fox News. “There’s a time to be active in campaigns, a time to have our voices heard and a time to stand up and be heard by members of Congress. … They need to know we are not going away.”

Heritage Action for America, the conservative Heritage Foundation’s political arm, said this week that its “sentinels” also will be pressing House members to repeal ObamaCare.

We on Long Island, New York have already received our "MARCHING ORDERS"  to get moving to SUPPORT OUR POTUS Donald TRUMP as we did during his CAMPAIGN !!!!!

But this time we have many more STALWART SOULS who have switched sides and are convinced that TRUMP was their man, ALL ALONG !!!!!   "Let's GET MOVING !!!!!!!!

For those in Arizona, Sen. Flake, McCain's protege, is a true RINO, stepping up to show support for Trump's choice for the USSC.  Don't believe that he's turned the corner because he hasn't, just decided that if he wants to win in 2018, he will have to start covering up his mess in the litter box of the Senate.  Flake was McCain's Gopher since McCain sponsored his rise in the Senate, and still is.

I can not understand whey McCain  or Graham continue to get reelected

Kelly Ward for Senate 2018!

Good to hear Eugene!

Excellent!!

Tea Party is very much alive and ready to take it to these libtards

I'm in Arizona and I've noticed about Senator Flake. McCain should have retired. We need term limits as well. I show President Trump support! I voted for him but I didn't vote for these Senators and House members to just drag their feet and do business as usual. MOVE! Get with the program.

We have a backlog of RINOS that need removing if we are to accomplish anything.

After the brainless marches and rioting by Liberals against our new President, a new group started today. On Facebook, patriots Shurrie Pennington-Prescott and Precious Mixon have starred a group to organize marches across America in SUPPORT of President Trump.

The group is called “March for America, March fur Trump!” With no real publicity, this group is rapidly growing and cruised 1,500 members in just hours.

Let’s make this happen.

Go join on Facebook. Now. Really. Right now!

Hillary Clinton says she is “deluged” with requests to try another run for president and has still not completely ruled out joining the crowded field of 2020 Democrat candidates.

The former U.S. Secretary of State has repeatedly avoided categorically stepping out of the race for the White House – or directly into it, for that matter.

During media appearances in the UK last month, Clinton twice hinted she may make a belated push on the basis she claims so many people want to see her on the national stage once more.

Speaking on the BBC’s Graham Norton Show in London last Friday, Clinton confirmed she would “have to make up my mind really quickly” if she was going to join the race.

When pushed to respond if she would make a run for the White House for a third time, she prevaricated and avoided a direct reply, instead responding with: “As I say, never, never, never say never.”

She did concede she would need to make up her mind “really quickly” about whether or not to jump into the presidential race.

Clinton has already missed the filing deadline for the first primary in New Hampshire but there is no deadline for the next caucuses in Iowa in early February.

Responding to Norton, Clinton said she had been “deluged” over the last few weeks thinking about running again, but added that, “right now, I’m not, at all, planning that.”

Norton asked: “The rumour mill is flying that you could step back into the ring.”

Clinton replied: “I hear that. I have been deluged the last few weeks with thinking about doing that, but right now I’m not at all planning that.”

Last month Clinton told BBC Radio 5 Live she was under “enormous pressure” to consider a 2020 White House run.

When asked about her future in politics, Clinton said, “I feel a sense of responsibility partly because you know my name was on the ballot, I got more votes, but ended up losing to the current incumbent in the White House who I think is really undermining our democracy in very fundamental ways. And I want to retire him.”

When asked if she is absolutely ruling it out, Clinton said, “ I will certainly tell you. I’m under enormous pressure from many, many, many people to think about it. But as of this moment, sitting here in this studio talking to you, that is absolutely not in my plans.”

Clinton and her daughter Chelsea, are currently in London promoting their new co-authored book – The Book Of Gutsy Women: Favourite Stories Of Courage And Resilience.
