Conservative activists to mobilize amid anti-Trump protests

As liberal protesters step up confrontations with Republican lawmakers, leaders of the original Tea Party movement that wrote the book on those tactics are reassembling their political army – dispatching activists to push a conservative agenda that includes tax reform and dismantling ObamaCare.

FreedomWorks, Tea Party Patriots and other groups are looking to keep pressure on GOP lawmakers to keep their 2016 campaign promises, and not buckle in the face of rowdy town hall protesters angry about the prospect of repealing the Affordable Care Act.

“A lot of people were elected to Congress based on bold promises about ObamaCare, tax reform and regulatory reform,” Noah Wall, FreedomWorks’ national director of campaigns, told Fox News. “We have to hold them to campaign promises, keep up the momentum and the energy. It’s time to get off the bench and get this to work.”

FreedomWorks plans to mobilize its network of grassroots organizations and unite with the Tea Party Patriots on March 15 for a “Day of Action” on Capitol Hill that will include a rally and visits to members of Congress.

The group will follow up with a “Month of Action,” set to include members driving constituents to congressional district offices and larger-scale rallies across the country to amplify their fiscally conservative message.

Wall says his group and its supporters want to capitalize on Republicans now controlling Congress and the White House, and achieve long-awaited policy objectives. If successful, their efforts could mark a revival of the eight-year-old Tea Party movement – a political revolt against big government under then-President Obama that crested with Republicans’ historic 2010 House takeover.

Tea Party Patriots national coordinator Jenny Beth Martin on Wednesday said the upcoming Capitol Hill events are to “make sure Republicans stay focused on repealing ObamaCare” and her group will follow up with its own busy month -- including daily, micro-focused activities like “Message Monday” and “Tweet Tuesday.”

She bristled at the suggestion the Tea Party movement has emerged from hibernation, arguing it was instrumental over the past several election cycles in helping Republicans take control of the House, Senate and then the White House.

“We are not dead, and we have never gone away,” Martin told Fox News. “There’s a time to be active in campaigns, a time to have our voices heard and a time to stand up and be heard by members of Congress. … They need to know we are not going away.”

Heritage Action for America, the conservative Heritage Foundation’s political arm, said this week that its “sentinels” also will be pressing House members to repeal ObamaCare.

This is great and what's needed at this moment. Trump is OUR GUY, he's not going ANYWHERE!

Spirit Of America

It's Not About Left Or Right, It's About Right Or Wrong

We strongly support President Trump in his effort to put America First and we are holding small rallies to show support for President Trump’s policies

There was a spontaneous uprising of grassroots activists that voted for President Trump to find a way to let people know that we support his agenda. Unlike those protesting against President Trump’s vision, we are a diverse coalition that are the heart and soul of America that wants our nation to fulfill our potential, as the greatest nation on God’s green earth!

The rallies will be positive, patriotic, uplifting, and open to anyone that supports an America First agenda.

Rallies across the nation will take place on February 27th at 12:00 pm and March 4th.  We expect many more states holding rallies will be added, so check back in a few days, when we will begin to list the locations. Contacts for the states are below.

If you would like to volunteer or organize a rally in a below state please contact the listed organizer. If you do not see a rally in your state and would like to host one email

Sen. Mike Lee: Conservatives Must Join President Trump as Champions of ‘The Forgotten Man’

Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee told an audience at Washington’s Heritage Foundation Wednesday that he is aligned with President Donald Trump’s populist conservatism and the president’s concern for “The Forgotten Man”–a full reversal from stances he took in the presidential campaign when he adamantly opposed Trump’s candidacy.

“Donald Trump’s tabloid and reality-TV persona may be an artifact of America’s glib celebrity culture, but his presidency represents a substantive indictment of Washington’s political and policymaking consensus, very much including the consensus within the GOP,” Lee said. “It’s an indictment I co-sign.”

Lee, who was associated with conservative holdouts, said it was time to get with the program and recognize that Trump is working on the same problems they are working on.

“Almost seven years ago, I first ran for the Senate as an anti-establishment challenger against an incumbent of my own party,” he said.

He added:

Four years ago, I first came to the Heritage Foundation and urged conservatives to reconnect with the working families and struggling communities our party had too long ignored and I spent the bulk of my first term in the Senate advocating for policy reforms to help and empower the “Forgotten Americans” that Washington’s broken status quo was leaving behind.

“President Trump’s peculiar brand of populist, nationalist politics is not what I had in mind. But nor must his election be the existential threat to conservatism, republicanism, and constitutionalism that many of his critics on the Right fear,” the senator said.

The speech marked Lee’s progress from the loyal supporter of his best friend in the upper chamber, Sen. Ted Cruz (R.-Texas), who took the fight to candidate Trump on the platform committee and led the unsuccessful fight to unbind pledged delegates to the New York City developer. It was a move that could have freed Cruz-friendly delegates unable to vote their will on the first ballot.

In September, Lee rejected the idea of accepting Trump’s nomination to the Supreme Court. In October, Lee asked Trump to step aside from the GOP ticket after the Access Hollywood tape was released. In November, Lee said he did not vote for Trump, instead opting for Evan McMullin, a former senior aide to Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R.-Wash.).

" Earlier this month, GOP Rep. Tom McClintock hosted a town hall in his California district that attracted about 500 people and became so rowdy that he required a police escort to leave the building.

“I have held more than a hundred town hall meetings in my district throughout the last eight years spanning the entire life of the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street movements,” McClintock said afterward. “Through all those heated debates, the police have never had to intervene.”

Utah GOP Rep. Jason Chaffetz also was among those recently confronted by angry town hall attendees.

Chaffetz, McClintock and others have suggested at least some of the attendees are part of a paid, organized effort to disrupt events.

Martin said the comparison between those events and the 2009 grassroots Tea Party town halls “disturbs me more than anything else.”

“We didn’t harass people,” she said. “We didn’t destroy property. The left just tore up buildings in Berkeley. We never did that." "

This is great and we need to bring out counter rallies and demonstrations to face off against the Soros backed communist traitors as well and put them on the defensive!

This is what we're up against.  See Lou Dobbs video.

We know they hope to paralyze the majority in the country through intimidation and fear......

The eighth rule: Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.

The ninth rule: The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.

The tenth rule: The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign.

The eleventh rule is: If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside; this is based on the principle that every positive has its negative.

God bless the Tea Party.

I wish I could join this march.

Liberals Are Starting A Postcard Campaign To Protest Trump On March 15

Chicks on the Right is organizing a mail a postcard to the WH showing support to, for and about President Trump.

March 15 is the date.

Send your postcards with words of encouragement to President Trump that day, y’all.  If you want a hashtag, use #theidesoftrumpsupport or something.  But two can play at this completely stupid game, and as long as we’re overwhelming the post office, might as well make it an overwhelming show of support, right?

Write one postcard. Write a dozen! Take a picture and post it on social media tagged with #TheIdesOfTrumpSupport ! Spread the word! Everyone on Earth should let OUR PRESIDENT know that we are behind him.  We want the wall.  We want the repeal of Obamacare.  We want Gorsuch.   We want him to keep Gitmo open.  We want our military to be stronger.  We want to defeat ISIS.

( Liberals – thanks for coming up with this completely stupid idea. Conservatives – let’s make sure to share this far and wide to get the word out, and let’s beat them at their own stupid game. )

Who’s with me?

If you want to show support for President Trump that he can take to the airwaves, mail your postcard to

TRUMP:  Trump To Give ‘Start Your Engines’ Command At Dayton

President Donald Trump will give the command for drivers to start their engines before the Daytona 500.

Daytona International Speedway officials named Trump the grand marshal for NASCAR’s season opener, meaning he will deliver the most famous four words in auto racing. “Gentleman, start your engines,” has been a staple of races around the country and world for decades.

White House spokesman Judd Deere said Thursday the president plans to attend the race. Track president Chip Wile confirmed the news in a release.

“Daytona International Speedway has been privileged to have hosted several sitting presidents of the United States over our history,” Wile said. “We’re honored that the president of the United States has chosen to experience the pageantry and excitement of ‘The Great American Race.’”

Trump is the third sitting president to attend a race at Daytona, but only the second to attend the Daytona 500. George W. Bush attended in 2004. Trump is the first to be given an honorary role in pre-race ceremonies.

Trump is scheduled to spend part of the Presidents Day weekend at his private club in Palm Beach, Florida.

The Federal Aviation Administration issued a flight restriction for Sunday and the U.S. Secret Service, which is responsible for presidential security, also tweeted to fans that drones are prohibited within 30 miles of the race in Daytona Beach — a restriction put in place for presidential visits.

Trump has hosted previous NASCAR champions at the White House and last October awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to motorsports titan Roger Penske. Last year, Trump also praised retired driver Mario Andretti, the Daytona 500 winner in 1967, reminiscing about a ride Andretti gave him in a race car for his reality show “The Apprentice.”

“I said, ‘Mario, get me out of here. I want to get out of this car,’” Trump recalled. “We went so fast. We literally — we covered four blocks in like a second.”
