I think the count in the Senate is 54 R, 44 D, and 2 Independent.
So, every republican voted for Gorsuch. Every democrat did not. What that reveals is that the Senate is concerned only with party and power rather than right governance under the dictates and restraints of the Constitution.
The Party is the ultimate, the most important element in government, and all policies are dictated by party preference.
The Constitution should read, " We The Party (in power, if republican, and if democrat doesn't matter because you are always in power) in order to form a more perfect (perfect means democrat) Union......
We the people are victims of government. Useful idiots. We pay for it. How idiotic is that?
Dale you didn't mention the 3 dems who voted for confirmation. So there where some unity but a every small one at that. The count was 54 to 45.
