Church Makes Lesbian a Bishop… Then She Makes Sick Jesus Statement

She also thinks that Jesus Christ was a bigot — or used to be.

You can’t make this stuff up. Unless you’re her. Then you’re totally making this stuff up.

Here’s what Oliveto told the Mountain Sky area (Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah and a small portion of Idaho, according to the United Methodist Church website) on August 19 in a weekly “message:”

“If Jesus can change, if he can give up his bigotries and prejudices, if he can realize that he had made his life too small, and if, in this realization, he grew closer to others and closer to God, than so can we.”

You heard it here, folks. Jesus was just a bigot who learned how to do better. Let’s look at the entirety of her ramblings:

Not only is Jesus a bigot that had to learn how to be inclusive and a leftist, she claims, but also — people need to stop making an idol out of him.

“The wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting one, prince of peace, was as human as you and me. Like you and me, he didn’t have his life figured out. He was still growing, maturing, putting the pieces together about who he was and what he was supposed to do. We might think of him as the Rock of Ages, but he was more like a hunk of clay, forming and reforming himself in relation to God.”

In case anyone was concerned that she might be right about either of these claims, allow me to point you to 2 Corinthians 5:21: “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

Add on to that, John 10:30: “I and the Father are one.”

Isn’t the jolt of English Standard Version after that gross, incorrect summarizing refreshing? It’s also probably worth mentioning that Oliveto’s paraphrase of Matthew 15:21-28 is horrendously off the mark. You can read what it actually says here. It’s a beautiful story that was meant to show the world that Christ’s love is so voluminous that it goes beyond just saving Israelites, but is for all who believe in him.

Her message is 100 percent against Christian teaching. Jesus was perfect and he most certainly wasn’t a “bigot.” Moreover, you can’t make an “false idol” out of Jesus because he is God and thus the only one worthy of worship.

However, based on her statements, it would appear that Oliveto is more than happy to make an idol out of liberal theology, even to the point where progressiveness is the goal which the poor, bigoted Jesus Christ must struggle toward.

Talk about being deceived.

Democrat Disaster! 53% Of Black Voters, 60% Of Other Minorities Say Liberal Media Trying To Help Democrats Impeach Trump

Thanks to President Donald Trump ALL Americans now know the mainstream fake-news media is an extension of the Democrat Party.

In a recent poll a majority of black voters and minority voters say the media is trying to help Democrats impeach President Trump.

And half of FOX News too, by the way.

CNS News reported:

Both black voters and other minority voters are more convinced than white voters that most reporters are trying to help impeach President Donald Trump, rather than report the news fairly – with a majority of each of the three groups holding that view – a new Rasmussen Reports survey reveals.

In the national voter survey, conducted November 12-13, 53% of all voters said most reporters are trying to help impeach Trump:

“When they write or talk about the impeachment effort, are most reporters trying to help impeach President Trump or block his impeachment? Or are most reporters simply interested in reporting the news in an unbiased manner?”:

“Help impeach President Trump”: 53%
“Block his impeachment”: 8%
Report “news in an unbiased an unbiased manner”: 32%

But, 53% of black voters and 60% of other minorities, compared to 51% of whites, said reporters are trying to get Trump rather than report the news fairly.
