For restaurant chain Chipotle, the "sustainable" Mexican grill, their to-go bags have received a makeover- and one has a communist message. The new effort is courtesy of author Jonathan Safran Foer, who is the "brainchild" for their new "Cultivating Thought Author Series."
According to a video announcing the series, Foer met with Chipotle CEO Steve Ells and suggested adding "something thoughtful" to the surfaces of the cups and bags used at the restaurants:
Why don't you just give something to people? Not as any kind of marketing tool, not with any particular message, but just something thoughtful.
Chipotle enlisted the help of authors and personalities who contributed sayings and stories -- or "little gifts to people" as Foer calls them -- to their to-go bags and cups in order for customers to "feel engaged."
Celebrities such as Sarah Silverman, Bill Hader, Judd Apatow all contributed. Apatow's bag says: "Don't be a jerk. Try to love everyone. Give more than you take. And do it despite the fact that you only really like about seven out of 500 people."
Chipotle can start by offering all their food for free.
How's that sound to everyone?
( I won't go there to eat ever)
Its been quite a few years since I've eaten one of their tortilla wrapped black bean, rice, imitation dog meat "dolphin embryo" resembling wannabe burritos. Looks like it might be another millennium before I eat there again. Another left wing "choke and puke" eatery has screwed the pooch!
I wouldn't eat their junk food not even free...!!!
We will never eat there again. Will eat at Chick Fil A instead.
It's nice to dream, isn't it? The reality is, though, you are still gonna have to pay for your burrito... As for me, I guess it's back to Taco Bell...
