California State Senate Leader: ‘Half My Family’ Here Illegally

Image result for Kevin De Léon (D-Los Angeles)California State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Léon (D-Los Angeles) said last Tuesday that “half his family” was in the country illegally, using false documents, and eligible for deportation under President Trump’s new executive order against “sanctuary” jurisdictions.

De Léon, who introduced the bill, made his remarks at a hearing in Sacramento on SB54, the bill to make California a “Sanctuary State.

He said :

… I can tell you half of my family would be eligible for deportation under [President Donald Trump’s] executive order, because if they got a false Social Security card, if they got a false identification, if they got a false driver’s license prior to us passing AB60, if they got a false green card, and anyone who has family members, you know, who are undocumented knows that almost entirely everybody has secured some sort of false identification. That’s what you need to survive, to work. They are eligible for massive deportation.

Testifying before the Senate Public Safety Committee, De Léon defended the widespread practice by illegal aliens of using fraudulent documents to work and obtain taxpayer-paid benefits, dismissing any concerns California citizens may have about being the target of identity theft.

In an interview the following day on KPCC 89.3’s Air Talk with Larry Mantle, De Léon expressed outrage that President Trump’s executive order would include those who possess fraudulent documents or committed identity theft to obtain a Social Security number.

“Someone simply who received or purchased a [fraudulent] Social Security card down at McArthur Park, or elsewhere in my district would be eligible immediately for mass deportation,” De Léon said (at 11:45 in the link above).

“He’s trying to deputize police officers — and with the suspicion of someone being a criminal or having a broken taillight, that they themselves, as a local police officer, could call the ICE agents immediately and have that person deported without even legal due process.”

Really??? That sounds like a personal problem. Get over it and tell your family to re-enter legally.....or stay OUT all together.

if california seceds then they should not get foreign aid

He should be arrested for harboring illegals and they should be deported.  I cannot believe the audacity of a State Senator not knowing how, or not having his family here legally.

I'm not cold hearted but this guys blatant, flaunting, admission regarding his family is like standing atop the California Capitol and giving the whole of the United States the FINGER!!!!

Sent them back.

Good! Get rid of the whole lot!

Yes...and American citizens pay the price for this fraud...identity theft and all the problems that go with that....POS folks like this man that preach sedition against the Constitution need to be arrested for such and dealth with.....round up the illegals with false documents and deport, deport, deport....

Amen to that.

I, like many others, am a Patriotic, Conservative, USA Loving citizen of California.

There is SO many idiots like this, some legal, some not, in California it is almost overwhelming. WE NEED HELP to get rid of this scum.

The rest of the Country will end up like this unless we stop the illegal immigration ROT!

Our own elected officials cant be counted on to follow the law. And it's done blatantly and without remorse. Time to seriously clean house. California should be on the top of the hit list. Arnold your terminated.
The current realistic figure for ILLEGAL aliens in the entire country is 30 MILLION; don't know if that includes the 4-6 MILLION estimated Visa Overstays. 11 MILLION is all the corrupt obama regime would admit to, 11 MILLION was the official census total used in 2003. Check the site; this site gives running totals and links to other sites tracking the atrocities of ILLEGAL aliens such as the
Built the Wall, High Deep and fast.

Even they probably don't know how many are here.  They probably keep track of that like they do claiming the "unemployed" are less because of how many are not collecting unemployment benefits.  They don't bother to count the ones still job-hunting for so long they've been rolled off of unemployment.  They'll do EVERYTHING possible to distort the figures.

Florida Sheriff — “I Will Not Enforce Assault Weapons Ban, Neither Will Most Sheriffs”

Dennis Lemma, who is the Sheriff in Central Florida’s Seminole County, told a group of 2nd Amendment activists recently that he would not enforce an assault weapons ban that could soon become Florida law if the “Ban Assault Weapons Now” amendment passes in the Sunshine State.

According to News965, the ban has the following specifications.

The amendment proposed in the state legislature would ban possession of assault weapons, which are defined as “semiautomatic rifles and shotguns capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition at once, either in fixed or detachable magazine, or any other ammunition feeding device.”

Lemma, an ardent supporter of the 2nd Amendment and a first term sheriff who is running for re-election, said this about whether or not he would enforce such a law.

“It’s not only that I wouldn’t, the majority of sheriffs across the state would not do it,” Lemma said in the video. It’s up to the sheriffs what they are willing to enforce.”
