Nowhere does the loony left show their incredible ignorance more than in their comparisons of President Donald Trump to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
Anyone who has an inkling of history understands that there is absolutely no comparison to a legitimately elected president of a country in which even the most radical elements such as ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter are still allowed to have free speech and political opponents aren’t targeted for internment and murder.
None of these morons have ever bothered reading William L. Shirer’s The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich or any other fact-based accounts on the Nazi regime – to many on the left, books are useless unless they require crayons.
Godwin’s Law – the rule that the first person invoking the Nazis immediately loses an argument – has been completely trampled by the angry and dangerous mouth-breathers who can’t accept the results of the election but the longer that they continue invoking Der Führer as a way to trash Trump, the more asinine that they look.
It’s now gotten to the point where the Hitler analogies that were effective only months ago are now backfiring as the sheer ridiculousness of it all is starting to create blowback on Hillary’s hate brigades.
For example, the genius in Chico, California who mistakenly believed that a Trump as Hitler billboard would be a great way to promote the Rouse and Revolt recycled clothing store.
The sign lasted less than 24 hours due to intense backlash and the business itself probably will soon follow it out of existence.
As reported by Sacramento CBS affiliate CBS 13 “Backlash Over Billboard Depicting President Trump As Nazi Sympathi...:
A Northern California business owner says her clothing store’s future is in jeopardy after she put up a billboard depicting President Trump as a Nazi sympathizer.
“Today’s been challenging,” Rouse and Rebel clothing store owner Nicole Lewis said.
Lewis is a small business owner in a big billboard battle. Her billboard was ripped down by the media company she rents space from.
It had shown Donald Trump, the 45th president, with the number 45 written in a style similar to the Nazi swastika.
“Yeah it’s very controversial, yes, oh yes,” Lewis said.
Lewis says she chose to put up the message as a political protest and put her business name on it so people would know who paid for it.
“I decided, you know what, I’m gonna use this platform, and I decided to put my name on it because … why hide?” Lewis said. “I’m gonna stand behind my beliefs. I’m gonna stand behind my actions.”
Stott Outdoor Media did not return our calls, but a spokesperson told Newsweek magazine they took the billboard down because “people misinterpreted the billboard and who the speaker was.”
Chico police are doing extra patrols around Lewis’s store after employees have reported death threats.
“I just have been shaky, lots of anxiety over the threats and the negative attention that it’s received,” Lewis said.
The company’s Yelp page is also being monitored after dozens of new negative posts about the business.
“They just want to ruin my business,” Lewis said. “My moral to the story is I think that just because you’re a business owner doesn’t mean that you don’t get to stand behind your beliefs.”
In typical liberal fashion, the clueless owner of Rouse and Revolt is playing the victim. It must have never crossed her mind that such an offensive and insane message would not only be bad for business but would result in a huge amount of very negative buzz.
