Budweiser Attacks American’s Who Want Secure Borders

Budweiser has created a Superbowl Ad that is creating a lot of controversy. The 1-minute ad tries to explain to origins of the company’s co-founder, Adolphus Busch, by focusing on the fact that he was an immigrant.

The ad starts out with an actor who is playing Busch being told, “You’re not wanted here! Go back home!”

The vice-president and ranking executive for Budweiser brand in the U.S., Ricardo Marques, claims that this is not related to what is currently going on in the country in regards to illegal immigration.

From ADWEEK:

“There’s really no correlation with anything else that’s happening in the country,” he says. “We believe this is a universal story that is very relevant today because probably more than any other period in history today the world pulls you in different directions, and it’s never been harder to stick to your guns.”

Translation: This is directly related to what is going on in the U.S. and we are standing with liberals across America because it’s the progressive thing to do.

News of Budweiser’s Superbowl Ad has been out for a minimum of three days now and the prices in Budweiser’s stock have begun to fall.

Don't these companies have PR people telling them what a bad idea this is?  Have they not seen what's happened to Target, Macy's, Starbuck's?

I just viewed the Bud commercial several times and I have found that it accurately illustrates that which America is really about; it featured an actual refugee from oppression and it has no relation to illegal aliens in our country. 

It is unfortunate that the Anheuser-Busch marketing team chose to authorize this commercial at this time of our nation's history. It is also possible that their marketing team is riddled with neo-liberals as obviously was the Madison Avenue Ad Agency who created that spot with the blatant emphasis on mistreatment of those who apparently are not "correct people" for the country/area.

Hopefully, those who are now boycotting Budweiser brand beer because of this poor advertising choice will give some thought to the possibility that Anheuser-Busch was victimized by internal forces.

BTW, I don't particularly like Bud beer, either. IMO, American beer, as a class, should be put back into the horse but that is only my opinion. Maybe I just don't like pilsner beer...

It's possible that Anheuser-Busch no longer maintains it's original corporate mindset. Budweiser is owned by the Belgium-based brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev.

InBev, who renamed themselves as Anheuser-Busch InBev after purchasing Budweiser, now owns Budweiser. The company also owns a number of the world's most popular beer brands, including Corona and Stella Artois.

I have to respectfully disagree with you.  After decades of trying to understand who loves America and who doesn't,  I have come to the conclusion that if it sounds like a duck it is a duck.  All this double talk is just to confuse.  If the VP and ranking executive for Budweiser in the US, Ricardo Marques did not approve an add for the Superbowl, which everyone knows get a lot of attention, I having been in business my whole working life in many top 50 or 100 companies can just not believe that.  Someone in that position would also know what is going on in the country and no or little regards for America and how we feel. Just can't buy into your statement. 

Just trying to be reasonable and peaceable..a role that is very unlikely for me. 

O well, Buttweiser does belong in the horse rather than on the store shelves and coolers.

What a bunch of Anti-American  crap!   President needs to  go over their gov. contracts. This company does a lot of Government contracting especially with the military !. maby it's time to take a look at those contracts again .

This is a real shame.  I have almost always loved the Budweiser ads.  I never drink their beer, it causes me to have a headache and gas.  I guess I am done watching their TV ads 

If you are looking for a better beer to replace Budweiser, I recommend that you try Yuengling. It is produced by the oldest brewery in the US. I'm not sure if it's sold west of a line between Ohio and Alabama.
I particularly like their Lager and Black and Tan. I had already given up Budweiser because of their support of the NFL. I spend my money with people and companies that have morals that align with mine.

After that filthy Crappernick's stunt, my family will not be watching, for the first time in over 20 years.

Never liked "Butt-wiper" in the first place.  Certainly will stick with Miller Hi-Life!

Send Budweiser  packing they are not an American beer company anymore anyway they are owned by ambev out of Belgium . Miller ,and SAM Adams are the only American owned beer companies now.

Should have stayed with the Clydesdale horses. Fake stories, like fake news doesn't work.

Maybe invest in Coors the beer is better.

Today another poll was released with similar results.

Most Americans believe that the corrupt media is trying to help get President Trump impeached. Three-quarter of Republicans, half of independents and even a third of Democrats believe this to be the case. No one trusts Schifty Shiff or the corrupt media pushing his impeachment sham.
