Bridenstine, More Than 40 House Republicans: Senate Has ‘Constitutional Obligation’ To Reject Loretta Lynch Nomination

Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) tells Breitbart News that the U.S. Senate has a “Constitutional obligation” to reject the nomination of U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch to replace Eric Holder as attorney general. Bridenstine says this is because Lynch proved during her testimony before the U.S. Senate Judiciary committee that she does not believe in enforcing the law independent of Obama’s political viewpoints.

“The top law enforcement officer in the land must be willing to enforce the law, independent of administration politics,” Bridenstine said in an emailed statement. “The testimony of Loretta Lynch demonstrated an unwillingness to depart from the politicization of justice we have seen from Eric Holder. The senate has a Constitutional obligation to not confirm her. This starts in the Senate Judiciary Committee.”

Bridenstine is leading a letter of House Republican leaders to Senate Judiciary Committee members urging them to reject her nomination in committee.

The list has more than doubled in size from about 20 Congressmen to now at least 45 signers since Breitbart News first exclusively reported on Bridsentine’s efforts. Signers include: Reps. Bridenstine, Brian Babin (R-TX), Randy Weber (R-TX), Mo Brooks (R-AL), John Fleming (R-LA), Lamar Smith (R-TX), Jeff Duncan (R-SC), Pete Sessions (R-TX), Andy Harris (R-MD), Austin Scott (R-GA), Ted Yoho (R-FL), Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Ted Poe (R-TX), Chris Stewart (R-UT), Paul Gosar (R-AZ), David Schweikert (R-AZ), Roger Williams (R-TX), Steve King (R-IA), Doug LaMalfa (R-CA), Dave Brat (R-VA), John Ratcliffe (R-TX), Bill Flores (R-TX), Michael Burgess (R-TX), Jody Hice (R-GA), Pete Olson (R-TX), Joe Wilson (R-SC), Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), Matt Salmon (R-AZ), Ron DeSantis (R-FL), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Cynthia Lummis  (R-WY), Mark Meadows (R-NC), Luke Messer (R-IN), Dan Webster (R-FL), Sam Johnson (R-TX), Mike Rogers (R-MI), Blake Farenthold (R-TX), Trent Franks (R-AZ), John Carter (R-TX), Doug Lamborn (R-CO), Mike Conaway (R-TX), Brad Wenstrup (R-OH), Rod Blum (R-IA), Scott Perry (R-PA), Tim Huelskamp (R-KS).

The Judiciary Committee, per an official announcement from Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), is to vote on Lynch’s confirmation next week. If the committee approves her, the full Senate would consider her nomination shortly thereafter.

She's a shill for the leftist obama. She will bend the law to fit the leftist narrative. I vote No!

It doesn't matter what we think. Tinpot oblamea, if he wants lynch to be the AG, then she shall be.  Soeth sayeth the tinpot dictattak, king asshole oblamea!

Thank God someone has the nerve to put something definitive in writing. Not only that, he has made it public.  What a great thing.  I have to say all of this intrigue is making my chest tight!  I hate this edge-of-destruction feeling. Anyone else feel that way?

I think that most all of us (at one time) free conservatives feel that tightness!!  If the House/Senate let her take over the DOJ....and at the same not stop Husseins Immigration fiasco in DHS/ other words...Hussein wins....Americans lose...AGAIN.....IMHO...there will be a groundswell out here for a third party as the R's will never win another election.  Really does not matter what the new party is called....anything would be better than what the R's have done so far....since Nov....when we gave them the chance to fix the disaster we are in. They can fix it...but will they....not looking good for any of us at the moment.

Every day since the rigged soreass election of 2008.

I think all of us in here should contact our Senators ( both of them in Washington for each state)  , and our house of Representative too, and find out why the ones who are not going to vote against her don't . I already done that with them,( First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States)

bridenstine is the only house member from Oklahoma who isn't a boehner lapdog!!!!!

They need to arrest the demonRAT whore for treason and hang her.

Both houses should reject any nominations or proposals put forth by this president until he is impeached. Say no to the lame duck chicken shit president until he leaves office.

Angry Dem Impeachment ‘Witness’: Pam Karlan Donated Thousands To Hillary And Was On Clinton’s List For Potential SCOTUS Nomination

The House Judiciary Committee, chaired by Rep. Jerrold Nadler, kicked off its first impeachment circus Wednesday morning.

The four ‘witnesses’ testifying have never actually witnessed any of Trump’s dealings with Ukraine firsthand — the four witnesses are law professors offering legal analysis.

One of the witnesses the Dems rolled out is an angry Hillary Clinton donor who was on Crooked’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination.

No wonder why this unhinged, dowdy woman is so pissed off!

“Professor Pam Karlan donated thousands of dollars to Democrats and was on Hillary Clinton’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination. So she certainly has no vendetta against President Trump,” GOP Rep. Mark Walker said.

Congressman Walker also pointed out that Noah Feldman, the Dems first partisan witness in Wednesday’s hearing tweeted about impeaching Trump right after he was sworn in.

Meet Noah Feldman, House Democrats first partisan witness.

Look at the date of this tweet. He has been trying to get @realDonaldTrump impeached since 46 days into his presidency.

His reason? Trump criticized President Obama.

This is a sham impeachment with sham witnesses.

The next witness, Karlan, has donated thousands to Democrats and was on Hillary Clinton’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination.

So she certainly has no vendetta against @realDonaldTrump.

These witnesses are as serious as House Democrats impeachment case: not at all.

The entire sham show trial is stacked with partisan hacks who have wanted to impeach Trump from the moment he won in November of 2016.

Norm Eisen, the Democrats’ counsel who is blasting Trump and questioning witnesses in Wednesday’s show trial, tweeted about impeaching Trump before Donald Trump was even sworn into office!
