BREAKING – Federal Judge Rules CNN is FAKE NEWS, Now They Will PAY

Image result for judge declares cnn fake news cartoonEveryone keeps using the word “conspiracy” regarding Trump and the media, but a judge may have just put an end to that rhetoric with a massive ruling that gives Trump’s claims of fake news a LOT more credibility.

Judge Orinda Evans, of the Federal District Court, said, in her 18 page order on the case, “The Court finds these allegations sufficient to establish that CNN was acting recklessly with regard to the accuracy of its report, i.e., with ‘actual malice,’” via Law Newz.

David Carbone, formerly the CEO of St. Mary’s Medical Center, located in West Palm Beach, Florida, is behind the lawsuit against CNN. They claimed, allegedly falsely, that the infant mortality rate in one of the hospital’s surgery programs was three times the nation’s average.

Obviously, such news would be very concerning to expecting parents who were considering the hospital for their child’s birth.

As a result of CNN’s story, the hospital’s pediatric cardiothoracic surgery program was shut down, and Carbone also lost his job.

None of this was due to a recommendation by any agency or medical authority but merely because no parents were interested in the services of a program which was, according to the CNN report, very unlikely to save their children’s lives. The hospital has decided to invest in other areas of medicine, but that doesn’t make CNN‘s allegations okay.

Carbone argues that CNN intentionally lied about the infant mortality program associated with the hospital. According to Carbone, they also did not give any positive information about the program.

L. Lin Wood, Carbone’s attorney, has said that CNN‘s story does fit the description of “fake news.” Wood also added, “False and defamatory accusations against real people have serious consequences. Neither St. Mary’s or Mr. Carbone did anything to deserve being the objects of the heinous accusation that they harmed or put babies and young children at risk for profit.”

One of those consequences has hit Carbone hard. Because CNN trashed Carbone’s reputation, it has been difficult for him to find new employment. As the CEO of a hospital, the man has likely sacrificed much for his career and put in decades of hard work. Then, CNN came along and ruined it all.

Not to mention, CNN also encouraged parents with children who have very serious conditions to find medical treatment elsewhere. The program was for infants and young children with problems in the organs in their chests, normally the heart or lungs, which is normally a dire situation.

If the program really does provide care at or above the national average, CNN could have had parents risking their children’s lives by transferring the children to other hospitals or simply travelling further for the same surgeries.

This is what happens when the mainstream media lie… readers believe it, and then innocent people suffer. CNN needs to learn that their slavery to ratings has crossed a line. Our justice system will not put up with their lies anymore. I hope Carbone takes the network to the cleaners and now people take Trump’s claim of fake news a LOT more serious.

Who owns CNN?

The Cable News Network (CNN) is an American basic cable and satellite television channel owned by the Turner Broadcasting System division of Time Warner.

Thanks, Marilyn.  I wanted to make the point that the head of the snake has to be cut off, not just worry around poking it with a stick.

Not only should CNN have to pay damages to hospital and Dr. Carbone, but all reporters involved ought to be sued personally and lose their jobs as well. How about damages based upon fake news that may have endangered young children and families, forcing them to go elsewhere and possibly not receiving services. At the very least CNN must have massive fines levied against it,and  maybe their FCC license to operate, revoked.

Sue, sue, sue.  These purveyors of insidious Lies should be held accountable for their Lies to the Public. They should be cited over and over for their attempted manipulation.  They spread discontent, and do their best to prevent the coming together of our Country. They promote division with their Lies, and are a dangerous weapon to Freedom.  They must be held accountable.  Bravo, this decision is a beginning, possibly we will see an end of the "Very Fake News Channel".

A NEW HEAD OF THE EPA.............LETS KNOCK DOWN THE FAKE OVER THE TOP NOTION THAT GLOBAL WARMING HAS TOP BILLING OVER EVERYTHING----------- BECAUSE IT DOES NOT!!!!

Hillary Clinton says she is “deluged” with requests to try another run for president and has still not completely ruled out joining the crowded field of 2020 Democrat candidates.

The former U.S. Secretary of State has repeatedly avoided categorically stepping out of the race for the White House – or directly into it, for that matter.

During media appearances in the UK last month, Clinton twice hinted she may make a belated push on the basis she claims so many people want to see her on the national stage once more.

Speaking on the BBC’s Graham Norton Show in London last Friday, Clinton confirmed she would “have to make up my mind really quickly” if she was going to join the race.

When pushed to respond if she would make a run for the White House for a third time, she prevaricated and avoided a direct reply, instead responding with: “As I say, never, never, never say never.”

She did concede she would need to make up her mind “really quickly” about whether or not to jump into the presidential race.

Clinton has already missed the filing deadline for the first primary in New Hampshire but there is no deadline for the next caucuses in Iowa in early February.

Responding to Norton, Clinton said she had been “deluged” over the last few weeks thinking about running again, but added that, “right now, I’m not, at all, planning that.”

Norton asked: “The rumour mill is flying that you could step back into the ring.”

Clinton replied: “I hear that. I have been deluged the last few weeks with thinking about doing that, but right now I’m not at all planning that.”

Last month Clinton told BBC Radio 5 Live she was under “enormous pressure” to consider a 2020 White House run.

When asked about her future in politics, Clinton said, “I feel a sense of responsibility partly because you know my name was on the ballot, I got more votes, but ended up losing to the current incumbent in the White House who I think is really undermining our democracy in very fundamental ways. And I want to retire him.”

When asked if she is absolutely ruling it out, Clinton said, “ I will certainly tell you. I’m under enormous pressure from many, many, many people to think about it. But as of this moment, sitting here in this studio talking to you, that is absolutely not in my plans.”

Clinton and her daughter Chelsea, are currently in London promoting their new co-authored book – The Book Of Gutsy Women: Favourite Stories Of Courage And Resilience.
