Angry Conservatives Boycott ABC Over Cut; Unite in Effort to Save ‘Last Man Standing’

Actions have consequences.

ABC Entertainment’s abrupt and unexpected cancellation of its popular sitcom, “Last Man Standing,” has prompted a flurry of outrage, calls to boycott the network and at least two petitions asking that ABC keep the show, starring comedian Tim Allen, in its lineup.

Titled, “Save Tim Allen’s Show ‘Last Man Standing,’” one petition, drafted and posted Sunday by someone with the handle “Deputy Matt,” garnered more than 11,000 signatures in less than 24 hours.

“‘Last Man Standing’ stands out in the sea of network television sitcoms,” the petition states. “It is a show that appeals to a broad swath of Americans who find very few shows that extol the virtues with which they can identify; namely conservative values.”

But the petitioner emphasized that the show wasn’t merely about politics — it promoted family values by depicting a family whose members are able to work things out despite having widely differing political views — Congress take note.

But it was apparently the conservative Tim Allen character the network executives zeroed in on.

“Last Man Standing is one of the only shows on broadcast television, and the only sitcom, that is not constantly shoving liberal ideals down the throats of the viewers,” Deputy Matt continued. “And sadly, that is likely the real reason the show has been cancelled.”

A similar petition was initiated by Audra Abbott, asking ABC to “Bring Back Last Man Standing.”

But while was the preferred venue to call on ABC to keep Tim Allen alive, social media became the battleground for declaring outright war against the network.

Twitter outrage and four separate petitions calling for ABC to bring back ‘Last Man Standing’

@tgradous @curtislamm7 @ABCNetwork @heatstreet Great way to start the week! Patriots standing up against @ABC and their bias towards conservatives! Keep up the good work patriots!

@tgradous @pricklypear12 @ABCNetwork @heatstreet Yes, it will be my last time tuning into @ABCNetwork. They probably want to replace it with another LGTB show.

@tgradous @GeorgiaDirtRoad @ABCNetwork @heatstreet Hit 'em in the pocketbook and teach them a lesson about diversity of opinion, and freedom of speech.

One even called for using tactics favored by the wild-eyed lunatic left.

ABC announced last week that it would be cancelling “Last Man Standing,” despite its wildly favorable Friday night ratings and its ability to keep viewers tuned into the network.

BREAKING: Days After Shutting Down Tim Allen’s Pro-Trump TV Show, ABC Gets BAD NEWS

We have all heard about the HIT ABC TV show Last Man Standing getting canceled. It is obviously a weak attempt at trying to keep conservative TV shows off of their network.

Now, ABC has other problems they have to deal with. Due to their reckless attempt at playing politics over a TV show, people are protesting. They are not protesting in vagina hats, either — they are threatening ABC in a REAL way. They are boycotting the entire channel.  This could be devastating for the liberal network.

The reason for the outrage seems to stem from two things. First, you have the popularity of the show, which has 8.1 MILLION viewers. It is the second most watched comedy on ABC, according to Heat Street. So, why would they cancel it?

They would do it because the show is conservative, and Tim Allen (who plays the main character) is right-leaning in real life. This is what we have come to, and it’s so sad. People are playing childish games over TV shows because they don’t agree with the politics, and TRUMP is literally Hitler, right? It sure sounds like someone is trying to impose their views with an iron fist, but it isn’t President Trump.

When all of this information came to light, people were ANGRY! Many families watched the show religiously and found it to be in good taste. Once it was canceled, people began to take to Twitter.

Thousands of posts have popped up over the past couple of days. Even Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker got in on the action. He tweeted, “Looks like ABC is playing politics with your show despite decent ratings. Sad.”

Thousands of others have come out in droves to express their OUTRAGE over a TV show being canceled simply due to its more conservative views. People are not just angry because they liked the show — it is the PRINCIPAL of the matter.

It is only getting more intense as time goes on. There have been four petitions going around, urging people to bring the show back. We hope that they get enough to show ABC how foolish they are being.

Think about it, SOMEWHERE in the guts of ABC’s offices there is a room full of GROWN ADULTS saying “I don’t agree with the politics of this fictional character; CANCEL IT!” It is unreal. No one stood up and said, “Hey, this is our second most watched comedy, we are going to tank in ratings.” NO ONE? We can only assume that after the meeting they went back to their safe spaces and sucked on pacifiers for the remainder of the day.

There is NOTHING inherently wrong with having a show with differing opinions. As a matter of fact, it should be encouraged. It gives the AMERICAN PEOPLE varying perspectives and therefore, helps them know all sides of the story. That would be bad though, because then they would be thinking for themselves.

Will YOU be boycotting ABC? Let America know!

Luckily, enough of us are capable of thinking for ourselves, and we are TIRED of the Left bringing their politics into every facet of our lives. They better believe that if they keep this behavior up, the end is near for ABC!

BREAKING: Comedian Tim Allen Just Got GREAT News, Liberals are FURIOUS

Ever since ABC cancelled “Last Man Standing,” it’s seemed like our pro-Trump pal, Tim Allen, has had a streak of bad luck. Well, our fellow patriot just got a helping hand.

Tim Allen’s show, “Last Man Standing,” may be purchased by another network.Howard Kurtzman, the president of 20th Century Fox Television (who produced, but did not air the show), says he and his fellow executives “are hopeful that we can find another home for [the show].” (via Variety)

Criticisms over the show’s cancellation have been rampant and overwhelming, which may entice other networks to consider adopting Allen’s comedy.

The show always performed well. It was the second most-watched program on ABC, just behind “Modern Family”. In fact, the show’s great ratings indicate that ABC’s decision to drop it was nothing more than a political move.

The liberal media have made it their mission to demonize Allen, who is conservative, and seem poised to knock his show off the air for good. Ridiculous.

Though the network has repeatedly insisted that their decision was made due to scheduling concerns, we know that can’t be true. Any network can find room for their second highest-performing comedy.

You can double down on that, because Allen’s show was also their third highest-performing show of all time. ABC has explained that they wanted to schedule their dramas for Friday, kicking Allen’s show off the day entirely. Something isn’t right here.

Fridays are under-performing days. Many people are out instead of watching television. Moving the comedy to a weekday would have only boosted its viewership. The network pretended it couldn’t drop some of their less popular shows to make room for Allen’s.

So, it’s clear that Allen’s pro-Trump stance is what got his show sacked. Many fans have pointed out that “Last Man Standing” wasn’t even strictly conservative, as the child characters espouse liberal views. It seems like one conservative character is too much for the liberal media.

Tim Allen will make a home for himself on another network, and that network’s fans will be glad for the decision. The free market always wins out. People want more conservative and quality television, and that’s exactly what “Last Man Standing” is offering.

As for ABC? Well, the boss of the network is Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney. Rumors suggest the man is seriously considering a political run as a Democrat. It’s abundantly clear why he might not want conservative views expressed on television. (via Heatstreet)

Tim Allen is not about to give up on American culture so easily, and neither are we, patriots. Wherever “Last man Standing” ends up, that network is going to be filthy rich. I’m not going to miss an episode, and I know many of you won’t, either.

Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy: ‘The Real Second Amendment Isn’t Absolute

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) tweeted Saturday there is a “real” Second Amendment and an “imaginary” one and he believes the real one is “not absolute.”

Murphy, “I support the real 2nd Amendment, not the imaginary 2nd Amendment. And the real 2nd Amendment isn’t absolute.”

The statement was a precursor to his call for banning “assault rifles” in the wake of the Santa Fe High School shooting, even though “assault rifles” were not used in the attack.

Murphy said the “real 2nd Amendment…allows Congress to wake up to reality and ban these assault rifles that are designed for one purpose only – to kill as many people as fast as possible.”

Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) said the Santa Fe High School attackers used a .38 revolver and a shotgun to carry out his heinous acts. Therefore, a ban on “assault rifles” would have done nothing to prevent the attack from occurring or the tragic loss of life from taking place.

It should be noted that Saturday was not the first time Sen. Murphy called the essence of the Second Amendment into question. On August 6, 2013, Breitbart News reported that Murphy told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow that “The Second Amendment is not an absolute right, not a God-given right. It has always had conditions upon it like the First Amendment has.”

Murphy did not grapple with the words, “Shall not be infringed.”
