Allen West open to possibility of challenging Marco Rubio in Republican primary

In an interview on Washington, D.C.’s WMAL 105.9 FM “Mornings on the Mall” radio show on Wednesday, former Florida Republican Rep. Allen West inidcated that he might be open to challenging Sen. Marco Rubio in a 2016 GOP Senate primary.

“That’s a pretty heavy lift, because you’re talking about running against a sitting senator, and then, of course, that creates that schism that the other side would love to see happen,” West, who has ruled out a 2014 run, told host Larry O’Connor.

West, who said he wanted to “serve this country in whatever capacity I possibly can,” explained that his frustration with Rubio stemmed from the possible GOP presidential candidate’s support of the current immigration reform bill, which is currently being debated in the Senate.

YES .It's about time Allen, kick his ass!!

We have been waiting, hoping and praying that you would step forward and lead. We are behind you100%...... just tell us what you want and consider it done Mr. West. Get out here where America can give you their support. And thank you sir. Let's do it!

At this point I will support Allen West. Senator Rubio has lost his credibility with me. Really a shame as he seemed to be a stauch more!!!!

I would vote for Mr West anytime over Marco Rubio after Mr Rubio began pushing amnesty for illegals. Mr West has served his country as I have.

Does it not feel victorious when you patriots register that you will vote and support a man who has proven loyalties toward these United States and that his - meaning Col Allen West - actions, life and words are like our own - dedicated to our country, our American Tradition and as many have expressed here to your oath to protect and defend the Constitution and the United States from enemies foreign and domestic?  We are of the same fabric the same material.  But consider things in this light: Do we have to stand responsible for the actions of others of a lowly ilk? Do you not agree that no persons have ever shamed themselves, their names, their country and their form of governance as have our so-called elected leaders?  We have nothing to feel ashamed about our being Patriots and careful, diligent voters.  We are not the element that brought in that abomination into the white house twice!  And we are not like GOP sell outs McCain, Rubio, Hoeven. Kirk, Murkowski, Wicker, Heller, Alexander, Ayotte, Chiesa, Collins, Corker, Flake, Graham, Hatch and Heller  preaching that there is any good thing about amnesty and this destructive S 744.

It is time to realize that simply because we cannot quickly clean up the mess that several sell outs and malcontents have created, our backing great men such as Allen West and the handful such as Paul and Cruz, we are doing right and being the stuff that we are supposed to.  We remain American in heart, in spirit and in deed.

Len Turner, When one spews lies and is a proven LIAR, I do not feel that one can refer to persons such as the sell out list I named above that this can be misconstrued as eloquent.  Just as an enemy of our nation.  Know inside that we here are all of the proper substance, our constitution being tougher and our will being stronger than these sell out cowards who are so lowly and deprived that their only means to feel a form of gratification is to climb on board with loser commies and socialists marxists with the loser flood the USA with foreigners mentality.  The election game is won at the local level -- at the precinct level.  That is where we begin to put the most capable guardians and stewards of our nation and its traditions into offices that are today sorely lacking from men with any character, statesmanship, honor, and sense of duty and service.  We must continue fighting these scum bags and not allow them to take another step in the directions they think we are headed.  I say NO to Obscumbo and his leftist clowns at all levels - Legislative, Executive and Judicial and of course the electorate.  WE are the Neighborhood Watch of our Nations Welfare.  HoooAH!!!

God Bless America and may God be with Col West!!

Can I be on your campaign committee, helper, whatever?

I volunteer for his campaign. We need this man to help with rebuilding of our country.

I will definitely vote for Col. West.  He charted the path for us back when he was defeated for return to the Senate because he was not on the side of the fraud who occupies OUR White House now.  Col. West is a true Patriot and a great American who will take us to the place we need to be......the place we lost when we allowed fraud to put us in the position we "enjoy" today.  Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are great Americans and certainly qualified to hold the position as well.  Unfortunately, Ted Cruz is not by birth but I can assure you he is head and shoulders above what we have in Washington today.  He is standing up for our country now in an environment that is not safe for him.  God Bless Him as he continues to stand up for his convictions and those of the Patriots of this great nation!

Go Allen we love you God Bless

"GO Allen West~!"

I'm surprised Trump hasn't offered him a position...  I wonder why?

Upon my last check, Allen was living in Dallas, could have moved, but I'd much rather see him challenge John Cornyn, the McConnell clone, who does not represent Texas. Total Jackass, obviously kept in Office for pure RINO reasons.  The man is so dumb he's supporting Gun Legislature, and he's from TEXAS!!!   Get a Life!!!    We need to get rid of him worse than Little Marco.  Cornyn is a Career Member of the "Establishment".

Joe Biden On Violence Against Women:   We Have To Keep ‘Punching At It, And Punching At It, And Punching At It’

The audience laughed as he said this.

Former Vice President Joe Biden said that America needs to be “punching” back to combat violence against women during Wednesday’s Democratic debate.

Biden was asked if he would tackle specific issues regarding the #MeToo movement at the beginning of his presidency, if he were to be elected. The former vice president previously sponsored the 1994 Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), which aimed to protect victims of domestic violence.

The presidential candidate responded to the question about assaulting women by using the phrase “punching” repeatedly, apparently not thinking about the implications of using such a word.

“No man has a right to raise a hand to a woman in anger other than in self-defense, and that rarely ever occurs,” Biden said. “So we have to just change the culture, period, and keep punching at it and punching at it and punching at it. No, I really mean it.”

A few people laughed in the audience as he said this.

Biden added that it is important to pass the Violence Against Women Act, which has passed in the House and held up in the Senate. The former Vice President also suggested that America has to “fundamentally change the culture” of how women are treated, noting that it is “everyone’s responsibility.”

“It’s a gigantic issue, and we have to make it clear from the top, from the president on down that we will not tolerate it,” Biden said. “We will not tolerate this culture.”
