Allen West: If THIS isn’t evidence of SABOTAGE against Trump, I don’t know what it is

Greetings from Houston, Texas where I’m in town for the Dive Pirates Annual Ball. It’s a great organization that promotes adaptive dive training for individuals with spinal injury or lost limbs. I’m honored to be here, as they dubbed the theme for the evening “Year of the Patriot.” I dunno, kinda hard for an Atlanta guy to be in Houston and talk about “Patriots” right now — catch my drift? Also, I’ll be heading out Sunday for Brent Bozell’s Media Research Center cruise around the Caribbean with some awesome guest speakers. So, I’ll kinda be off the net but will write intermittent missives to give y’all an update and weigh in on pressing issues and matters.

And there’s one pressing issue that just has me astonished — and should you as well. I was driving down I-45 from Dallas to Houston Friday morning I heard this very disturbing news.

As reported by The Week, “In a last-ditch effort to block the confirmation of President Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency director nominee Scott Pruitt, EPA employees have resorted to calling their senators.

(Ahead of) Pruitt’s confirmation vote… employees at the agency (were) growing increasingly worried about the possibility of a new boss who has vowed to “get rid of” the EPA and who sued the EPA “at least 14 times” while he was Oklahoma’s attorney general, The New York Times reported.

“It seems like Trump and Pruitt want a complete reversal of what EPA has done. I don’t know if there’s any other agency that’s been so reviled,” said EPA lawyer Nicole Cantello. “So it’s in our interests to do this.”

The bold and blatant effort is out of the ordinary, and perhaps unprecedented. “I’ve been here for 30 years, and I’ve never called my senator about a nominee before,” an EPA employee in North Carolina told The New York Times. Former EPA employee Judith Enck said the rebellion reveals how desperate EPA employees are to block Pruitt. “EPA staff are pretty careful. They’re risk-averse,” Enck said. “If people are saying and doing things like this, it’s because they’re really concerned.”

Former Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt was indeed confirmed as the new Director of the EPA on Friday, obviously to the chagrin of the employees of the agency he’s about to lead.

What type of bizarro world are we living in where government employees of an agency are now calling to block the nominations of their future boss? Haven’t these folks EVER heard of the Hatch Act (which prevents government employees from lobbying)?

This is purely political activity and it should not and must not be tolerated. However, this abhorrent behavior has been playing out quite often in these early days of the Trump administration. There’ve been reported instances of similar actions in the Department of Defense and State, and we all know someone is leaking classified information to the liberal progressive media in order to undermine — no, sabotage — the peaceful transition of government.

These are government employees whose salaries are paid for by the American taxpayer. They should not be using their positions as political platforms, which is what the Hatch Act seeks to prevent. This just goes to further lend credibility to this belief that there’s some sort of residual rear guard, Obama shadow government left in place to create chaos for the incoming Trump administration.

Can you just imagine if, in February 2009, there were government agency employees calling their Senators, demanding they block Obama cabinet and agency appointees? The liberal progressive media would be going apoplectic! Instead they’re busy frothing over President Trump’s impromptu press conference from Thursday. Yes, it is the media’s fault they’re losing credibility and are hardly trusted. A story such as this should be receiving immense coverage, but instead, these rogue employees are being heralded as heroes and courageous by the leftists.

It’s time some very serious actions take place, and the government unions are not going to like what I say. These folks cannot see themselves any longer as being impervious to suffering any consequences to their actions. Not just this, but also the failures of government inefficiency — a reason why there are so many government hired contractors.

These government employees must be fired.

They cannot operate in this realm of feeling “untouchable” any longer. Their paychecks are signed by us, the American taxpayer. They don’t work for any political party, cause, or in advancement of an ideology. They are part of the swamp, the bureaucratic administrative state, and there is no place more indicative of that than the IRS and the EPA. This agency in the past eight years was used as an ideological agenda weapon of mass destruction.

This past Wednesday evening, I addressed the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association, and their stories about onerous EPA rules, regulations, and coercive practices evidences an agency that does not serve the people, but rather a big government philosophy. And now we have these EPA employees who seek to undermine their new boss. So how does Scott Pruitt come into an environment such as that? Needless to say, Director Pruitt can expect the same leaking, undermining, and sabotaging of his efforts in order to make him unsuccessful.

The left in America has become this unhinged tyrannical group of violent saboteurs. They appear to be unwilling to accept what they preached back in 2009, elections have consequences, and they lost. This ugly hypocrisy will not end well for them, and you can just imagine when President Trump removes the insidious protections that preclude government employees from being fired…shall I say VA scandal? Funny, how many scandals embroiled the Obama administration? Well, if you’re a liberal progressive Kool-aid drinking sycophant, you’ll reply “none.”

Let me close by putting this into military lexicon. The Obama administration has left an underground rear guard resistance in place. Its mission, task, and purpose is very clear…sabotage and undermine the Trump administration.

Therefore, as with any resistance action, the subversives must be found, rooted out, and eliminated from their positions of impact and influence. My recommendation to President Trump is an executive order — as he is the chief Executive officer of our federal government — to retain the power to fire and remove any government employee that performs in a substandard manner, or conducts subversive actions that are in violation of the Hatch Act. If there are employees in the EPA who want to be progressive socialist activists, fine, but not on the American taxpayer dime. Let George Soros pay y’all. Join Organizing for America, get a pre-printed protest sign and hit the streets.

What these employees at the EPA did was despicable and appalling and, yes, there must be consequences to their actions. It’s clear they cannot work at the EPA for the new Director against whom they made calls. They’re not loyal to him, so they can go serve somewhere else where they can be.

There must be no shadow government in the United States to erode the foundation of our Constitutional Republic. Playtime is over y’all!

Ahhh yes, sabotage from the original saboteur.

this is so exciting to witness all of this unfolding right before our eyes

Alan West has my vote. He is a clear thinker, not a racist and the most logical thinker I have seen in politics for a long while. BTW I am retired Army and a legal immigrant. I hate racism and pedophilia. I reiterate that Mr (LTC) West is a clear thinker and a real patriot.

A tip of the hat to you Mr. West.

Pruitt and all the other Trump appointees need to fire every single Obama appointee in their departments immediately. Even someone who may look at them sideways needs to be shown the door. A boss cannot have his troops undermining him and trying to sabotage him. Fire the disloyalists NOW!

Americans have gotten used to freebie. After Obama's socialism the redistribution of income and wealth is so bad that the top 1% and corporations are taking record shares of GDP, which puts even the 1920s to shame. We the people need to stop this and Constitutional Conservatives need to restore the American Republic.

I agree... Trump must back the new EPA Director with the power to fire all those employees who violated the Hatch Statute by becoming politically active.... calling their representatives too block their future boss.  Fire them all... even it if means closing down the EPA.

The IRS definitely needs the same treatment... remove every agent who has ignored the law and used their office too punish conservative groups and individuals.  In fact, when crafting Tax Reform... do so in such a manner that the IRS may be dramatically reduced... go to a flat tax... eliminate the need to file a tax return for most people and businesses.

Everyone on this site and every conservative site should have Lt. Col. Allen West's site on their favorites.

He posts things like this on almost a daily basis.

He is "ONE OF A KIND" that speaks the truth, NO holds barred, NO politically correct garbage, tells it like it is AND is one that says, "IF the truth hurts, so be it."

I am really surprised that Pres. Trump has not appointed this Great Patriot to a position in his cabinet. HE NEEDS TO!!

a few years ago it was common to read the opinion that 'EPA is liberals'/progressives' branch of government'. When sources like Huffypost and Sierra Club made the claim it was a boastful claim.

This MUST end!

among the many 1st things I'd do if I was Trump or Pruitt is to end the ties EPA has with Sierra club. Some are even codified contractual agreements to monitor businesses adherence to EPA regulations. Sierra Club serves as the social media manipulator for EPA as well, flooding sites with posts of outrage or the need for some coming regulation that EPA has in mind. Sierra Club is also the source of many (probably most) of the law suits against EPA in their long ongoing 'sue and settle' scam to create new oppressive regulations.  -- and a lot of the money they get to do that comes from EPA monitoring contracts and grants. I'd bet they also have been one of the organizations being secretly fed the 'fines/penalties' by fed/gov, which was exposed in the news a few months ago.

I listened to most of Pruitt's marathon confirmation hearing, and have also read about his ideas on how the EPA should be restructured into a different role than it currently has. It would be more responsive to the states' environmental agencies working directly with each other rather than the dictator it now is. If/when Pruitt does announce this restructuring Sierra Club will be flooding 'public opinion' with their outrage over that restructuring. Our side needs to be prepared to be just as aggressively supporting it!

I'm not sure if we should infiltrate the left, or show support on Trump's sites.

I'd say both.. but hesitate because I'm not very good at arguing/debating progressives online. I can do well face-to-face, but online it seems you might as well be trying to debate your neighbor's barking dog.  ;' /

none the less, I think both is the right answer. Convincing 'conservatives' of the necessity of outspoken support - and doing it, and causing strife within the echo chambers of the progressives.

BOTH.  If you can find out what your enemy is plotting and can plan better defensive action, and probably offensive too.

Angry Dem Impeachment ‘Witness’: Pam Karlan Donated Thousands To Hillary And Was On Clinton’s List For Potential SCOTUS Nomination

The House Judiciary Committee, chaired by Rep. Jerrold Nadler, kicked off its first impeachment circus Wednesday morning.

The four ‘witnesses’ testifying have never actually witnessed any of Trump’s dealings with Ukraine firsthand — the four witnesses are law professors offering legal analysis.

One of the witnesses the Dems rolled out is an angry Hillary Clinton donor who was on Crooked’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination.

No wonder why this unhinged, dowdy woman is so pissed off!

“Professor Pam Karlan donated thousands of dollars to Democrats and was on Hillary Clinton’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination. So she certainly has no vendetta against President Trump,” GOP Rep. Mark Walker said.

Congressman Walker also pointed out that Noah Feldman, the Dems first partisan witness in Wednesday’s hearing tweeted about impeaching Trump right after he was sworn in.

Meet Noah Feldman, House Democrats first partisan witness.

Look at the date of this tweet. He has been trying to get @realDonaldTrump impeached since 46 days into his presidency.

His reason? Trump criticized President Obama.

This is a sham impeachment with sham witnesses.

The next witness, Karlan, has donated thousands to Democrats and was on Hillary Clinton’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination.

So she certainly has no vendetta against @realDonaldTrump.

These witnesses are as serious as House Democrats impeachment case: not at all.

The entire sham show trial is stacked with partisan hacks who have wanted to impeach Trump from the moment he won in November of 2016.

Norm Eisen, the Democrats’ counsel who is blasting Trump and questioning witnesses in Wednesday’s show trial, tweeted about impeaching Trump before Donald Trump was even sworn into office!
