Air Force Veteran Relieved of Duties for Disagreeing with Homosexuality

A 19-year veteran of the Air Force said he was relieved of his duties after he disagreed with his openly gay commander when she wanted to severely punish an instructor who had expressed religious objections to homosexuality.

“I was relieved of my position because I don’t agree with my commander’s position on gay marriage,” Senior Master Sgt. Phillip Monk told Fox News. “We’ve been told that if you publicly say that homosexuality is wrong, you are in violation of Air Force policy.”

The Liberty Institute is representing the Christian airman in case the Pentagon decides to retaliate.

“Are we going to have a ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy for Christians so we don’t get harassed for our beliefs?” attorney Hiram Sasser asked Fox News. “Here’s a guy who wants to have his religious liberty and serve in the military. He shouldn’t have to believe in gay marriage in order to serve.”

I disagree about not using negative terms.  Being "nice" and not vocalizing disgust about the homosexual agenda only enables homesexuals to be more brazen.   They just keep pushing more, and more.  Are we eventually supposed to be required to experiment with homosexuality?  Oh, that's already done in some California schools "to see if you may be gay."  This is a sickness of the mind.   "Normal" people are suppose to bend to the wishes of homosexuals.  Why don't homosexuals bend to the wishes of "Normal" people?  In my gut, I believe that homosexuality is a form of mental illness.  To be forced to accept homosexuality as "Normal" would be the same as accepting to live the life of a crazy person!

Until homosexuals permeated the mental health industry, homosexuality WAS considered a mental illness.  I think it still is.  Further more, who cares what the Left thinks?  Do they care what the Right thinks?  Why does the majority of people in society have to bend to the wishes of the minority?  The Left started that insanity.

I suspect folks like Larry are just Liberal infiltrators trying to make us look bad.

Words like dickhead really attract women members and  voters. They love  that kind of verbiage as it shows intelligence, refinement and a good education.

Contrary to the AF spokesman, no one reaches the end of his assignment and is simply reassigned.  He was punished for disagreeing with a Wing Commander that abused her position because of her openingly gay lifestyle.  The one up for reprimand shoud be the Wing Commander.

Reverse discrimination, just another unintended consequence from the same people who want to give you same sex marriage. Homosexuals  didn't like being discriminated against, so now, they intend to demand that all aspects of their sexual practices, and lifestyle be unquestionably accepted, or retaliation will follow.  Openly gay military personnel ( those who continue to practice their perverse sexual lifestyle openly) should not be allowed in a closely knit organization such as our military for exactly the reasons stated in this article. Like Obama, it appears if you put a minority in a command position the first thing they do is seek retribution for not being accepted as normal, or their perception of wrongs of long ago, never made right. The more turmoil Obama and his progressive minions can stir up, the happier they are. Keep America in chaos and the citizens will be too busy to care about the murderous reign of Barack Insane Obama!

Michael said: "Like Obama, it appears if you put a minority in a command position the first thing they do is seek retribution for not being accepted as normal, or their perception of wrongs of long ago, never made right."

It's more complicated that that.

Some kinds of organization reward outspokenness, in-your-face-ness. Most non-profits attract more donations if they are constantly on the attack EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO CAUSE or WHEN THE CAUSE HAS BEEN WON.

My direct experience is with the 'humane' movement: Humane treatment of animals has been legally required (and those laws generally enforced) for half a century. But the 'Humane Society of the U.S.' (NO connection to your animal shelter or local rescue group) takes in more money than ever with ever-more-far-out attacks on animal ownership, use, and so on.

The NAACP? Formerly a fine organization devoted to advancing the well-being of black people in a country that still had laws that abused them. That war was won -- those laws are gone, and mopping up operations are now largely an internal matter for the black community. But you'd never know that to listen to top NAACP or other black leaders. Oprah just claimed that the Martin killing was as bad as that of Emmett Till in 1955.

Look that one up if the details aren't in your mind -- see if you agree with Oprah. Or could that statement possibly be headline seeking by an entertainer who is past her sell-by?

And so it goes: In these types of organizations and situations the most strident, the most abusive voices bring in the most dough and rise to the top.

Does HSUS tell us anything about the situation of animals? Can we learn about issues, concerns, or attitudes of black Americans from the NAACP?

Do you think we can learn much from gay (transgender, whatever) leadership about what kind of people are gay?

In every case, the answer is NO. The people these 'leaders' claim to represent are NOTHING like they're made out to be.
The average 'minority' in a military command position will be about like the average other military commander. That doesn't mean he won't be incompetent, a total jerk, maybe a sexual predator, whatever ... but he's hardly more likely to be so than the average white, straight, etc.

There's a word of caution that should go with: Some kinds of 'minority' are composed almost entirely of fanatics. Someone with HSUS affiliations deeper than giving them money (LOTS of people are fooled into doing that) is not to be trusted in any position with power over animals or animal-owning people. HSUS has been telling supporters to get jobs where they can 'help the animals' (wink-wink) for decades and stories are legion. A Muslim who wants to be a military officer? There may be some that are okay, but they all know that jihad is a moral obligation.

But painting (as the paragraph above does) all gays as seeking retribution is simply wrong.

There ARE other issues with gays in the military: Gays have nearly all the HIV and you can't do 'universal precautions' against blood contamination on the battlefield. Women are yet another issue: They don't have comparable body strength and endurance and it is impossible for them to be treated as 'just one of the guys'; the results will vary from rape to weakening of unit bonds. These two groups have PHYSICAL -- not attitudinal -- issues.

Put the homos back in their closets and lock the dorr !!!!

Things will not change until the fraud and usurper barack hussein obama is removed from office under US Constitutional law , Article ll Section 1 Clause 5 of the US Constitution . The fraud and usurper barack hussein obama is actively trying to destroy the US Military by allowing gays to not only serve openly in the military but to force their views on non gays .

The openly lesbian commander is a perfect example of how homosexual indoctrination in the military is being established.

I agree with the airman, sodomy is wrong no matter what ribbon they attempt to wrap it in.

Why is it every time the liberals get their way, conservatives have to relinquish rights?  Where's the equality in that?  This is just down right insanity.  Surely, as adults, we can agree to disagree, or can we?  With every "in-your-face" act, they create a new prejudice and then forbid prejudice.  Almost laughable.

SICK: Leprosy On The Rise In Los Angeles

Ahh, the joys of open borders and Democrat leadership.

California is not just a public toilet but now there is evidence that leprosy is on the rise in Los Angeles County.

Barack Obama changed US law in 2016 and allowed immigrants with blistering STDs and leprosy to migrate to the US.

Medscape reported:

Leprosy, also known as Hansen’s disease, is rarely seen in the United States, but cases continue to emerge in Los Angeles County, a new report says.

“Hansen’s disease still exists, and we need to educate medical students and physicians,” coauthor Dr. Maria Teresa Ochoa from Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, told Reuters Health by email.

Dr. Ochoa and colleagues identified 187 patients with the disease in a review of medical records from their leprosy clinic spanning 1973 to 2018. Most patients were Latino, originating from Mexico, and they experienced a median delay in diagnosis of more than three years, the team reports JAMA Dermatology, online August 7.

Multibacillary leprosy (MB) cases outnumbered paucibacillary leprosy (PB) cases by nearly eight to one (88.6% vs. 11.4%, respectively), and Latino patients were more likely than non-Latino patients to have MB, as were patients from Central or South America (versus other regions).

Most patients (80.7%) received multidrug therapy, and most (92.6%) received antibiotics for more than two years, especially if they had MB.

Only about half of patients (56.7%) had World Health Organization (WHO) grade 0 disability (no signs or symptoms suggestive of leprosy or disability) at the one-year follow-up, whereas 16.0% had grade 1 disability (loss of protective sensation) and 26.2% had grade 2 disability (visible deformity) at the last follow-up.

Among the patients who lost protective sensation, 87.7% (50/57) did not regain it following therapy.
