After Supreme Court Upholds Obamacare, Texas Congressman Introduces Bill Aimed Directly at Justices

Rep. Brian Babin (R-Texas) responded to a Supreme Court decision upholding a key Obamacare provision Thursday by introducing a bill in the House that would require each of the justices to enroll in the controversial health care program.

“As the Supreme Court continues to ignore the letter of the law, it’s important that these six individuals understand the full impact of their decisions on the American people,” Babin said in a statement.

“That’s why I introduced the SCOTUScare Act to require the Supreme Court and all of its employees to sign up for Obamacare,” the Texas congressman added. “By eliminating their exemption from Obamacare, they will see firsthand what the American people are forced to live with!”

“[T]hey will see firsthand what the American people are forced to live with!”

President Barack Obama’s controversial health law survived it’s second Supreme Court challenge Thursday when the court upheld its nationwide tax subsides in a 6-3 decision.

Critics immediately skewered the court for the decision, many citing Justice Antonin Scalia’s dissenting opinion to contend the court had become politicized.

Its is only fair that all in government use the same health care that they passed.  It should be this way for all laws.  As it is said to be.

POLITICIZED HELL!!!, THEY ARE JUST BOUGHT AND PAID FOR CLOWN PUPPETS, DANCING ON THE N.W.O. STRINGS.

Great Idea, and there is no reason for any of our elected officials to vote against this.

I agee they should ALL have to live with the same laws as they force on the public!

Equal protection under the law!

Yes, but some animals are more equal than others.

ALL government employees MUST live under the laws that they make for the rest of us!!  It is only fair, as there is no one better than anyone else in this country!!!  They might be better off, but not better than!!!!.

Agree whole-heartedly with you, Norman!

Wake the hell up America. If this passes who would enforce it? The court has ruled against Obama immigration policy and he continues to ignore it and nothing is being done about it. When this administration called us Cowards-Stupid and Lazy it was a insult at the time. After seeing Americans reaction to Obama policies I agree with these people. Americans wear these signs proudly.

God bless Brian Babin.

He did not aim high enough... He should propose a host of Articles of Impeachment... his bill is nothing but symbolic and even if passed the Court would ignore it... then what?  Those 5 Justices that found this new liberty in the 14th Amendment need to be IMPEACHED ASAP ... removed from the Court and disbarred... for GROSS BAD BEHAVIOR.  See Article 3, Section 1, Clause 1 of the US Constitution for the power Congress has to remove these judges.

And I don't want to here that Obama will send 5 more ... because Congress needs to turn down every nominee that doesn't fit the judicial philosophy our forefather's expected justices too maintain... .

Are you convinced your freedoms are gone? Are you ready to capitulate? Are you going to lay down now and just shut up?

All your ranting and raving, voting, faxes, phone calls, letters and presence at town hall has done ZERO... NOTHING!

SICK: Leprosy On The Rise In Los Angeles

Ahh, the joys of open borders and Democrat leadership.

California is not just a public toilet but now there is evidence that leprosy is on the rise in Los Angeles County.

Barack Obama changed US law in 2016 and allowed immigrants with blistering STDs and leprosy to migrate to the US.

Medscape reported:

Leprosy, also known as Hansen’s disease, is rarely seen in the United States, but cases continue to emerge in Los Angeles County, a new report says.

“Hansen’s disease still exists, and we need to educate medical students and physicians,” coauthor Dr. Maria Teresa Ochoa from Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, told Reuters Health by email.

Dr. Ochoa and colleagues identified 187 patients with the disease in a review of medical records from their leprosy clinic spanning 1973 to 2018. Most patients were Latino, originating from Mexico, and they experienced a median delay in diagnosis of more than three years, the team reports JAMA Dermatology, online August 7.

Multibacillary leprosy (MB) cases outnumbered paucibacillary leprosy (PB) cases by nearly eight to one (88.6% vs. 11.4%, respectively), and Latino patients were more likely than non-Latino patients to have MB, as were patients from Central or South America (versus other regions).

Most patients (80.7%) received multidrug therapy, and most (92.6%) received antibiotics for more than two years, especially if they had MB.

Only about half of patients (56.7%) had World Health Organization (WHO) grade 0 disability (no signs or symptoms suggestive of leprosy or disability) at the one-year follow-up, whereas 16.0% had grade 1 disability (loss of protective sensation) and 26.2% had grade 2 disability (visible deformity) at the last follow-up.

Among the patients who lost protective sensation, 87.7% (50/57) did not regain it following therapy.
