Brushing off a planned lawsuit by House Speaker John A. Boehner, the White House said Thursday it refuses to curtail its use of executive actions.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters aboard Air Force One that the lawsuit, which centers on what Republicans believe is Mr. Obama’s abuse of executive authority, is just another example of GOP obstructionism.
“The president is in no way considering scaling back” his executive actions, Mr. Earnest said. “It’s one thing for Republicans to try to block legislative remedies. It’s another thing to go to court to say that the president can’t act.
Republicans object to, among other things, Mr. Obama’s use of executive authority to delay or alter certain provisions within the Affordable Care Act. The GOP argues the president too often acts without Congress — a strategy the White House brags about; The administration has dubbed 2014 Mr. Obama’s “year of action,” in which he’s prepared to work around the House and Senate wherever possible.

John the Boehner! Way too late! Way too little anyway! Saving his buttocks. Saber sword rattling. Maybe he should have tried to DO something a long, long time ago....defund, refuse to fund, .......... Leaders lead; leaders do not follow. Whose orders is he following, Karl Rove and the boys? Leaders do something. What has he accomplished? Leaders lead even when others are critical. But what noteworthy thing has he done? We the People are disgusted! Whether you agree with his tactics or not, you can more readily understand Neil Cavuto's feelings. What Neil was saying was: Let's Roll!
He should write his executive orders on toilet paper so we can all show him what we think of them.
Boehnor is finished. He just doesn't see it.
Did he stomp his feet? Sit on the floor in the fetal position and suck his thumb?
Well Mr. Boehner asked for Americans, mostly TeaParty, to send him more troops back in 2010. And he got them... and basically has done little with them even though he was elevated to #3 in the line of power. We still remember you Mr. Boehner. This call to action looks self-serving. And if the Repubs are objecting to the tyranny they have a funny way of showing it.
bonner is just playing obamas game he never intends to do anything just yap his gums.If he really wanted to do anything he should cut off all money to the white house since he controls the purse strings not reid.Take away the power to print money since that also is supposed to come from congress not executive office. You see i hate calling him president since in my personnel opinion he is not a president at all,he is a theif,a traitor and a communist who needs to be felt with accordingly for his law breaking activities, just like any true American would be treated for breaking the law.
Steve, I agree with everything you say. This traitor is not an American, but yet they let him go.I'll tell you who I hate the most, The Main stream media. They totally suck.
Totally agree with you, Bernard!!!!
That lawsuit and some leadership should have happened a long time ago. You talk a good game but when the chips are down, you are fence walking. We need leadership at your level and you are not it. Your job is in it's final months and you might as well read the handwriting on the wall, Brother Boehner. If the RHINOS think that WE THE PEOPLE are afraid of them, they had better think again. 100% of them need to go away home or wherever their very generous pension will allow them to light for the balance of their lives because they have done their part to destroy our great nation and we are FED UP with them and Crooks, Criminals, Liars, Communist, Muslim Brotherhood loving Obama Administration and we are locked and loaded for the ballot boxes in November. Fraud is not an option this time!!!!
Where is "Lee Harvey Oswald" when you really need him?
Boehner's suit is nothing but theatre. DICTATORS don't care what the people feel about anything.
