In his speech to the United Nations, President Barack Obama defended the increased globalization of the world’s nations, condemning the wave of populist nationalism that was growing in the world in response.
Obama says globalization will continue growing rapidly, signaling the unstoppable march of progress. But he warned that nations who allow the wealthy to enjoy the benefits of globalism face challenges from their populace. Those people, he noted, were falling prey to an “alternative” narrative, propagated to fuel opposition.
“Alternative visions of the world have pressed forward, both in the wealthiest countries and in the poorest,” he said. “Religious fundamentalism. The politics of ethnicity or tribe or sect. Aggressive nationalism. A crude populism. Sometimes from the far left but more often from the far right.”
He referred to a “collision of cultures” that was challenging each country and called for world citizens to reject religious fundamentalism and racism.
“That’s a truism. That global integration has led to a clash of cultures. Trade, migration, the internet, all these things can challenge and unsettle our most cherished identities,” he said, alluding to France’s burkini laws and Muslim clashes with France’s offensive cartoons.
He also urged each country to evolve towards progress, describing the conflicts as part of the old world.
“The world is too small. We are too packed together for us to be able to resort to those old ways of thinking,” he said.
Obama alluded to Donald Trump’s campaign promise to build a wall on the Southern border three times, pointing out that such an action would be futile to stop many of the threats facing the world.
“Today, a nation ringed by walls would only imprison itself,” he said.
“The world is too small for us to simply be able to build a wall and prevent it from affecting our own societies,” he said afterwards.
“Mosquitoes don’t respect walls,” he added later referring to the Zika virus.
Obama drew laughter from the audience of world leaders after he pointed out that American allies and adversaries believed that all the world’s problems were either caused by Washington or could be fixed by Washington.
“Perhaps too many in Washington believe that as well,” he joked.
He concluded with an examination of fallen human nature, pointing to the challenges that humanity faced.
“Time and again human beings have believed they finally arrived at a period of enlightenment only to repeat cycles of conflict and suffering,” he said. “Perhaps that’s our fate.”
But he explained that young educated people gave him hope and optimism about the future, as they could shed old social and cultural norms to fight for progress.
The leaders of terror-sponsoring states are currently descending on Manhattan for the annual opening of the UN General Assembly and their words are guaranteed to be blasted across the global airwaves. It is about time we made the connection between the terror-enablers in Turtle Bay and the terrorism in the streets beyond.
Monday brought new meaning to the phrase ‘upstairs, downstairs.’ Above ground, the limousines glided in and out of UN Headquarters – recently renovated with more than half a billion dollars from U.S. taxpayers alone. Below ground, millions of New York straphangers were held up in subway and train stations until police gave the all-clear.
The contrasts get even starker. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is being protected by New York’s finest, while he is endangering American sailors and pilots in the Persian Gulf.
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is paying “martyrs” that kill Americans and Israelis, while Americans are paying to take good care of his health and welfare when he is in town.
Then there are the other so-called “world leaders” that New Yorkers are hosting. All have immunity to travel to and from the UN in the name of “world peace.” And yet they include despots and dictators from terror hotspots like Lebanon, Libya, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, and Yemen.
There is something seriously wrong with this picture.
And YET.....obama gives mexico 75 million dollars to build a wall between them and central America. ANOTHER double standard you lying muslim?
Another lie but he sure is free with our money
We will get right this time....VOTE TRUMP

Congress SHOULD Include A Moratorium On Refugee Resettlement From Terrorist-Sponsoring Countries In Its Short-Term Funding Bill
Congress SHOULD NOT Add 198,000 Low-Skilled Foreign Workers
Leaders in the House and Senate are preparing to continue funding the federal government past Election Day.
NumbersUSA is asking Congress to add a moratorium on refugee resettlement from terrorist-sponsoring countries to this short-term spending bill. NumbersUSA is working very hard to make this happen.
The bad news is that Congress is also considering extending a dramatic increase in temporary foreign workers!
NumbersUSA is opposing any expansion of the H-2B program in the continuing resolution, and we're asking Congress to place a moratorium on refugees from terrorist-sponsoring nations until an assessment of the national security risks they present can be completed.
I watched yesterday, it sounds so pretty but its a bunch of collective bull sh-t from a communist and their plan will only suceed for short time because the people will revolt and their will be HELL to pay and the elitist, globalist, establishment a-s holes will have to pay the piper. Every generation of Patriots have had to water the Tree of Liberty and this generation will be no different and will be the tuffest challenge yet. Its never been a secret who we are but now this election has exposed the maggots among us.
God Bless America and the State of Israel

Young educated people give him hope because he knows they've been brainwashed in liberal colleges. They scare the crap out of me and suck out the hope for our future at the same time. I want us out of the UN and want the UN off American soil. AND I want that a**w**e out of the WH.

Senate clears a procedural hurdle, but still no word on whether spending bill will include H-2B visa increases
Yesterday, the Senate cleared a procedural hurdle to start the clock on passing a short-term spending bill to fund the federal government past Sept. 30. Funding for the government expires at the end of the month, and Congress is expected to pass a continuing resolution to keep it funded into mid-December.
However, the details for the short-term spending bill are still being worked out between Congressional negotiators, so we need your urgent phone calls today!
Last year, Congress expanded the H-2B low-skilled, guest worker program, excluding returning foreign workers from the annual cap of 66,000. The exemption increased the number of H-2B visas that could be issued to 264,000. The expansion expires on Sept. 30 unless Congress extends it through the short-term spending bill.
It's imperative that Congress oppose an increase to the H-2B visa program. The program is used by employers to fill low-skilled temporary or seasonal jobs, but vulnerable American workers and teens, who have unemployment rates well above the national average, rely on these temporary and seasonal jobs for work and would have to compete directly with foreign workers.
Also, Pres. Obama announced plans last week to expand the Refugee Resettlement program by 30% in FY2017. We're urging Congress to include a moratorium on the resettlement of refugees from terrorist-sponsoring countries until an assessment of the national security risks they present can be completed. The Obama Administration plans to resettle 110,000 refugees in FY17 - an increase of 25,000 from FY16 and 40,000 from FY15.

The most important action you can take as a concerned citizen is to call your Members of Congress!
Please call all three of your Members of Congress and urge them to oppose any expansion of the H-2B visa program and to support a moratorium on refugee resettlement from terrorist-sponsoring countries.

Obama is an Anti-Christ wanna be!!!
It used to be that a dictator wanting to rule the world would use force of arms to take over. Now they use the UN to convince the world and people like George Soros think they will control the UN and thus the world. Same old salesman going to the back door instead of busting down the front door. It's clever and harder to fight.
