Dem Congresswoman: Obamacare Sign-ups Low Because Millions Think GOP Repealed the Law

Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.) joined MSNBC host Richard Lui on Monday to discuss the number of Affordable Care Act beneficiariesreleased by the Department of Health and Human Services over the we.... She offered a novel suggestion for why enrollment figures fell short of projections: the GOP successfully convinced the public that the law was repealed.

While 1.1 million have enrolled, 3 million enrollees were expected at this point and 7 million are needed by March 31, 2014, in order to ensure the program is financially viable. Norton posited that the enrollment figure is lower than expected for a number of reasons, including the fact that millions believe the Republican Party succeeded in repealing the law.

“The goal as has been said, it’s seven million people signed up by the end of March,” Lui observed. “Can that happen?”

Wonder how she figured that when all the Liberal Obama supporters listen to MSNBC & the Liberal media!??  They sure as hell were praising Obamacare and knew it wasn't repealed.   "WOW"!

Eleanor Holmes Norton - what a total dips**. Where did she pull that new lie from....

Delusional does not go far enough for the democrats apparently.  After making so much over those nasty republicans causing the government shut down because they could not appeal obamacare, she really came up with that one?

Actually the Obamacare project is low for most American know how bloody bad it is;... even the very own designers do not want it for themselves , do they?

So, as result, the administration people are making up numbers, , fictional tallies of enrollees , that in reality is another deception....better said.... more lies...are they not?

Here is a vivid example;...

Oh!, your can bet your shoes and you will not loose them, that Team-Obama is signing up dead people...perhaps vampires,... zombies,... even aliens from outer-space,...who knows?
Just remember that democrats did manage to register even a cat for the 2008 fraudulent elections,. anything can happen from that day
Everyone out there,...just remember the moment;

"I found a cat that was registered to vote"
When a cat registered [presumably as a Democrat] to vote was discovered in Cleveland's Cayahoga County a few years back, any sensible person would have realized at once it was fraud. Just ask Tiny, above in a post-catnip stupor (note flakes on fur). Cats are neither Republican nor Democrat but Independent.
"I found a cat that was registered to vote," Bill Sammon is telling Megyn Kelly on Fox News re Acorn (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) voter-registration fraud in Ohio back when Bill was an investigative reporter covering the Cayahoga County Board of Elections for the Cleveland Plain Dealer during a previous election:
They weren't sure whether it was a DemoCAT, fat-CAT Republican or working for Ross PURR-ot. Acorn isn't just some left-wing group. Its a group that Barack Obama used to work for and served as an attorney for suing the state of Illinois to implement the motor-voter law.
Input anyone? Opinions welcome.

I live in Cuyahoga County.

Like Detroit, D's are messing everything up. Period.

Yet another bit of proof that those folks that believe in Obummercare are just so frigging stupid and looking for a free ride on the USA wagon...

They sure do think people are stupid.

I swear their mantra never ends. All their shortcomings are the fault of Bush or the Republicans. The American people aren't stupid, their finally seeing what a tax riddled over grab this monstrosity is.

Imagine that, the majority of this sick nation is listening to the GOP...but they put the master criminal of all times in office @ the polls.

Another product of gerrymandering to make sure that blacks are represented by black persons in Congress. She, Maxine Waters, Shelia Jackson Lee, Conyers, and others are an embarrassment to their people.

Wrong!   It's because we can't afford it especially since it is 3 to 4 times higher now and we don't need the government jacking it all up and making us believe they are helping us if they subsidize us to get us on.  Just another way to force welfare on people and make them their bitch.

OMG!!! Ruth Bader Ginsburg Voted Best Real-Life Hero At MTV Awards

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Monday was crowned the best real-life hero at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

The 86-year old judge — whose 2015 biopic The Notorious RBG help cement her as a cultural icon among Liberals — beat out tennis star Serena Williams, WWE wrestler Roman Reigns, and comedian Hannah Gadsby to take him the award.

Though it wasn’t a clean sweep for Ginsburg last night.

The RGB documentary lost the “Best Fight” category for “Ruth Bader Ginsburg vs. Inequality” to “Captain Marvel vs. Minn-Erva.”

The justice was absent from the ceremony in Santa Monica, California.

Last December, Ginsburg had surgery to remove cancerous growths on her left lung. She was released from the hospital in New York four days later and recuperated at home.

Earlier this year, Ginsburg missed three days of arguments, the first time that’s happened since she joined the court in 1993. Still, she was allowed to participate using court briefs and transcripts.

Ginsburg has had two previous bouts with cancer, in 1999 and 10 years later.

Flashback: Ruth Bader Ginsburg: A Pregnant Woman Is Not A ‘Mother’

Celebrated liberal U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg argued in an opinion released Tuesday that a pregnant woman is not a “mother.”

“[A] woman who exercises her constitutionally protected right to terminate a pregnancy is not a ‘mother’,” Ginsburg wrote in a footnote, which in turn responded to another footnote in the 20-page concurring opinion by Justice Clarence Thomas in the Box v. Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky Inc. case.

As Breitbart News’ legal editor Ken Klukowski reported, the case concerned a law signed by then-Governor (now Vice President) Mike Pence of Indiana in 2016, which required that the remains of an aborted fetus (or baby) be disposed of by cremation or burial. The law also prohibited abortion on the basis of sex, race, or disability alone.

The Court upheld the first part of the law, but declined to consider the selective-abortion ban until more appellate courts had ruled on it.

In his lengthy opinion — which delighted pro-life advocates, and distressed pro-choice activists — Thomas wrote that “this law and other laws like it promote a State’s compelling interest in preventing abortion from becoming a tool of modern-day eugenics.” He traced the racist and eugenicist beliefs of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, and warned that the Court would one day need to wrestle with abortion as form of racial discrimination.

In a footnote, Thomas attacked Ginsberg’s dissenting opinion, which argued the Court should not have deferred to the legal standard used by the litigants in the lower courts, but should have subjected the Indiana law to a more difficult standard instead, since it impacted “the right of [a] woman” to an abortion.

Ginsburg cited no legal authority for her claim that a pregnant woman is not a “mother.” The claim that a fetus is not a child is central to pro-choice arguments.
